When I ordered this replacement battery for the HP laptop, I did not realize it was not the same shape as the original. It does fit in the battery slot, but the new battery adds extra height to the laptop. This is fine if you desire the laptop to be propped up by approximately one inch. The battery works great and I am happy with the product. Clearly extended the usefulness of my older laptop.

I won't lie- I was a bit sceptical about buying this battery off of another site‚ but I couldn't afford to buy the laptop off of EBay for just parts‚ so I went with it.My laptop is an HP Pavilion DV6‚ and boy I just saved it for a bit longer! This battery is brilliant! It came a with a bit of charge so I could test my Pavilion without its charger. I'm happy to say that I no longer have to sit by my wall anymore. This one finally worked for my HP g6 pavilion. many others that said they would, had issues. This one works fine. Battery life seems good so far. My one issue is that the battery falls out sometimes and does not want to lock in place with the sliding lock system of the computer for some reason.. it fits right otherwise so i am not sure what this is...I have had many other replacement batteries and only this one does that, but only very infrequently. Service from the seller is great, the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is the battery coming out sometimes.

I've only used this battery (well, my laptop with this battery in it) a couple times since I bought it, but it's so much better than my old one that was long overdue to be replaced. So glad it worked out, as I'm always leery of buying things like this online (bought batteries for my Galaxy S4 back when I had it & they were a mistake), but this one has had no issues yet & I was actually able to use my laptop without having to keep it plugged in before ever even turning it on for the first time in months!

My 6 year old HP Pavilion laptop started signaling a problem with the battery. Found this replacement at a great price on Amazon and ordered it. It fits perfectly, arrived quickly with a 75% charge on it and started working flawlessly. Completed the full charge quickly. Time will tell how long it lasts, but for now I have no complaints at all. Very pleased with this product and would recommend it.

While the battery life is not the best, I get decent battery life out of it for what it and my old laptop is. I'll probably look for a better battery, as this was just something quick and cheap to get it back on its feet, but it's good for that purpose.
