Got my order super fast and the plugs were a beautiful white. Great job on the production.

I followed the instructions, spending additional funds on beeswax, and nothing has grown .....at all. I even soaked the log which was not a step that was mandatory. My husband went out and got an oak log and I also plugged some in a tree. Nothing grew in either place. Too late to get a refund because I wasted time giving something a chance to grow. I wasted my money...don't waste yours.

Just placed these in a log today. Fairly easy once we read up on what to do and gathered the necessary supplies. The kids had fun covering the dowels with wax. We are looking forward to a few years of fresh mushrooms and trying other varieties.

Bag was full of mycelium. I put into my logs. Now time to wait. But no doubt they will produce.

What a waste of time and money. Followed directions exactly, not once but twice. Nada. And speaking of "directions"-- either they are second language so lacking in instruction or instructions "assume" the potential grower already knows how to bring mushrooms to fruition. I'm a glutton for punishment apparently-- just got the Shitake and going to give them a go. "Instructions" take me to the exact same page as the Oyster so not holding out high hopes. ha
