The dress is very nice, great material and perfect fit! I’m 5’ 8” and 179 pds., between L and XL. Based on reviews, I ordered the XL so that it wouldn’t be too tight. I m glad that I decided to order this dress.

This was described as semi formal and I agree. It is long, has a nice side slit with some ruffles beside the slit. I’m 5’4, 127#. The fit was good, the length a little long. (Definitely not ankle length). I do not like the way the material bunches in the front. It’s not terrible but it’s not great. The back is a far better look/fit than the front.

I found the fabric very heavy.

This is a nice dress for evening events. I am just under 5'4" and usually wear a size 0 or 2, and it's difficult for me to find long dresses that aren't miles too long, but with average heels, this dress will be the perfect length. The fabric is a good weight-not too lightweight, but not super heavy either; it seems like it Will be fairly wrinkle-resistant, as well. I would have given the dress 5 stars, but I don't think it is at the formal level.it will be great for evening events, but not quite what I would select for a true formal event. However, it is still a lovely dress with a tastefully accentuated slip in the front to add interest.
