This little light is rather cool! The middle of the is Saturn. It is great because not only can you change the color; you change the orientation of the planet by moving the glass ball around. With both USB and battery power options, this light can be placed anywhere you want. I love just staring at all the little details you see around the Saturn.

The light helps you check on things in your room when you hear a noise or wake up without disturbing anyone.Makes a nice gift for birthdays, the loss of loved ones, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, baby showers, graduation gifts, housewarming gifts, and many other special occasions.Wipe down with a soft cloth to clean off any smudges and fingerprints. The crystal ball can be hand washed with mild soap, water, a soft cloth, scrub, rinse, and dried with a soft cloth. Handle with freshly washed hands to avoid smudging and fingerprints for a beautiful smooth glossy light show. I suggest giving it to older responsible children who will leave it be and enjoy the light changing through the breathing rainbow mode, my favorite. Or it can be set to one color. Place on a shelf or a nightstand in a safe spot. A falling ball could hurt someone's feet or pet, children should be instructed to leave it alone it is a light, not a toy.If looking for someone who hard at seeing things, I suggest looking for one that is 3" in size which will have better quality, clarity, and be easier to see. I actually ordered this for a sister-in-law's birthday, but failed to read the description thoroughly - I didn't realize it would have the word "Forever" under the rose. That being said, this is a BEAUTIFUL crystal ball light. It's crystal clear, the etching is beautiful, and the base is great. It would be perfect for an anniversary gift or birthday gift for a spouse or significant other.

Packaging was sufficient, the lamp arrived just fine.The ball itself is beautiful, and the butterfly and flower design inside is enchanting. The light is not very bright, which makes it more suitable as a decorative piece rather than a primary light source. It's not really even suitable for a night-light. It's pretty dim.The base is cheaply made, constructed from lightweight plastic. This doesn't affect its functionality but does impact the overall feel of the product. Additionally, the color transitions are not as seamless as I had hoped. There are brief moments of white light between colors, which can be a bit distracting. Perhaps the color wheel inside is not attached securely enough?Another point to consider is that the charging cable does not actually charge the device. The light must remain plugged in to operate, which might be inconvenient for some users looking for a cordless option.Despite these minor drawbacks, the Butterfly Flower Night Light Crystal Ball Figurine is a charming and visually appealing decoration but not much more. I would recommend it to those looking for a decorative application but not to those looking for a night light. Also keep in mind that to be a cordless light you would need to keep purchasing batteries for it. And again, there are those slightly less-than-seamless color changes as well. The image of the hummingbird is delicate and so beautiful, just like the birds. What you can't see on the listing is how beautiful this image is in 3D. As you turn the crystal ball, the bird is three-dimensional like a real bird, with two separate wings, feathers with depth, and all the details. It's remarkable. It's heavy, optical quality K9 crystal and the light illuminates the image but passes through the crystal, to illuminate the room. Take a look at the video to see all the options for the light, it can be solid in any color, or slowly changing, or flashing. It can take AAA batteries (not included) in the base, or has a USB cable. It comes in a very nice, giftable box. This would make a wonderful gift for anyone who loves hummingbirds.

She loves it! Second crystal ball I've bought. This one is just as nice as the first. Very good clarity on the tulips and butterflies. Very very pleased, and reasonably prices as well. Would purchase again.
