EVO Box O' Bollox Texture Paste

Love the product, but I don’t know why this gets shipped in just a plastic bag. It came in partially smashed and the product open.

After years of trying dozens of hair styling products that wound up in the graveyard under my bathroom sink, I happened to catch a brief mention of Box O' Bollox in a YouTube hair styling tutorial. There is almost no information about this product available online, but I decided to take a chance anyway and spend almost double what I normally would to see if this stuff worked for my fine hair. The bottom line is that this product is like a unicorn in that it provides incredible, long-lasting hold with a true matte finish. As those with fine hair can attest, it is almost impossible to find anything that provides volume and really solid hold without looking greasy and clumpy. My only complaint is that the scent isn't very good--it smells like powdery patchouli and it lasts all day. If they would change that, then this would be a hall of fame, holy grail hair product.

I purchased the $10/.5oz just to try it out knowing it was a terrible deal but not wanting to commit to a full $30. Let me tell you, this product is the best I have ever used. I've tried all different kinds of wax, clay, pomade, etc... Just about any product that claims to have high hold and low-shine but this is by far the best hold with very minimal shine. I use it in tandem with mousse and hair spray to ensure it is locked in. It is a little pricey but I think it is definitely worth every penny.

Wow! This texture paste by Evo is killer! High hold, tons of structure, low shine, high volume, provides awesome texture, tames the wispy fly aways and it thickens your hair. Great for short hair like mine. I used a little salt spray as a prestyler then blow dried, worked in a dime size scoop of the Box O’ Bollox and went all day without having to mess with it again. It’s not cheap, but worth its weight in gold. I highly recommend.

Love the product but wouldn't order in the winter again. The product was delivered and was frozen so had to thaw and didn't work so good

The product itself appears fine though there seems to be a finger print in the product and there was no lid on the jar. If I didn't need it so badly I would not keep it.

Works well on my thick short hair, little goes a long way. The hold could be stronger, but i have to be fair… i am looking for a miracle in one product. This is the best so far!! And i have tried….many. Love it!!

Discovered this after a trip to my barber, because it was a product he recommended. Smells good, great hold, matte finish and a little goes a long way for choppy “bed head” styles. Great product, well worth the price.

I have very thin, fine, blonde wavy hair that is curly at the back. I’ve never found a product that works well, lasts, and doesn’t make me looking like a grease factory until this. Pricey but worth it if you have the same problem, you’ll never go looking again and be satisfied. I get compliments on my hair frequently when using this product
