FOOTBALL FOR FEMALES is well wtritten and detailed. But I'm afraid I'll have to read it a couple times to get it.

Okay so I got this as a gag gift for my assistant coach. I have no clue what is in it content wise but it was AWESOME - LOL

This a good primer. Presents lots of basic information.HOWEVER, it really does need more "X"s and "O"s when setting out the descriptions of the locations of the players, but especially when describing offensive and defensive formations. The "X"s and "O" would clarify the description.

I should have paid attention to the date. So many of the penalty calls have changed so pretty confusing for someone wanting to learn from scratch. Positions and positional numbers out of date. Truly doesn't help someone that wants to sit down and understand the game.

I bought this as a gift and the recipient seems quite happy with it.

wanted to keep up with the "boys" at the TV games, tired of just fixing treats for the games...never was a footbal fan but wanted to learn the ropes...F for F explains but doesn't "dumb it down" for us "simple little females".

Pick this book up if you want a simple guidline for football. It is a quick easy read for anyone.
