This is a nice set. For farm or the household use. I would buy again.

Great tool set but needs the metric companion to be complete.
I got this so I could put it in my shed to use on my lawn equipment. I have a John Deere riding mower and was planning to attach my battery. Unfortunately, the bolts to tighten are metric. I was able to use it on the hose clamps to attach the hoses for the pool though. So, it just being SAE is helpful, but would still need the metric side.Overall, the set is great though. It comes in its own case to keep the sockets organized, with a clear front to see all the tools. Also, I really like that the sockets don’t lock into the plastic and are easy to remove. I have another tool set, where it’s really tight and sometimes a little difficult to get the smaller sockets out. Note, since they are loose in their seating, you won’t be able to drop it if the cover is open. I trust the Craftsman brand, so the socket is solid and works like a charm.Pros: Nicely organized, trusted tools, easy to useCons: Just having SAE may not be able to fix all your needs

Good set, except for the case
This is a functional set of Craftsman standard (SAE) 6-point sockets with a 3/8 inch drive ratchet and a 3 inch extension. Contains all socket sizes from 5/16 through 13/16, but interesting to note that there is no 1/4 inch socket which, although small, is a fairly common size. The sockets have engraved designations of size, and a knurled edge to allow for finger tightening. This socket set comes in a plastic case, although it is not particularly well designed, and with a lot of wasted space, and for some reason a lift out tray that is not that easy to lift out. The case has a clear plastic top and securely latches, but it's not particularly impact resistant so maybe damaged easily if bouncing around in the back of a pickup truck, for example. This comes with the standard Craftsman lifetime warranty, which unlike many lifetime warranties, this does not require you to mail it back to the manufacturer, but simply return it to a Craftsman retailer.Craftsman is now owned by Stanley/Black & Decker who has acquired many hand tool and power companies in recent years. The 72 tooth tooth ratchet is fine enough to allow for small turns in tight places. Ergonomically, the ratchet feels well, and is designed with a small enough handle diameter to allow for the placement of a 3/4 inch pipe for extra leverage, although every shop teacher will warn against that tactic. The actual tool set is what I would expect from Craftsman. Fairly high quality, well-designed and well manufactured, and smooth operating. My only reason for deducting a star is the poor design of the case which is both a waste of space and less durable than I would expect from Craftsman. A set like this need a durable, compact, and well designed case that will last for decades, and I don’t believe this will do it.

Got these to be in my truck.
This set replaces an older set that I had with a couple lost sockets. I like to keep them in my truck for use when needed. The quality is good and I have used them without issue. WOuld recommend.
