Good to have some time with kids.
Kids really like to enjoy, they are always excited to play. It can be completed within 15 mins. If 2 players playing would be good to have 5 sets to win. 3 sets are too easy. Rules are not complex too. Go for it.

Great family game
This was purchased after a whole can of coke ruined our old pack! This came is like the classic game but much quicker and can be played almost anywhere. We have played this on a plane, around the pool on sun loungers. In a tent and in the clubhouse! It's got the kids off their mobile devices and talking. The aim of the game is to collect 3 full sets, depending on the cards depends on how the game goes. You can think your doing really well and the next minute you ve lost all your cards and your bank!My son who's 7 has loved playing it this year, regularly beating his older sisters! This game is great for all the family.

Good game
Great game - kids love to play on train journeys or when waiting as each game only takes a10-15 mins (rather than days with board game). Easy to pick up after a couple of games - good to have the quick check instructions to hand to begin with. Unfortunately, we received USA version when we thought we were getting UK set (hence 4 stars) so properties are unfamilar but principles the same and it hasn't stopped us from enjoying the game.

For once the US version was much better than the UK version!
Didn't realise I had ordered the US version (despite being really clear on the pictures!) but didn't realise until we were in our holiday cottage and too late. Despite being the US version, it was actually a better game than the UK version and we had much more fun. Games can twist so much quicker with the forced deal and deal breaker cards. So much fun, we played this every night for a week. Brilliant - and an ordering mistake that I was very happy to have made.

Immense amounts of fun!
This game is sooo much better than the original Monopoly game! It's quicker and involves a lot more strategy. Winning is still a little down to luck, but it's largely strategy and tactics. It's a bit about reading people, a bit about guessing what cards they hold in their hand and it packs up really small - the same size as a pack of cards so it's great for taking travelling with you. I went camping and played it using a friend's set, I enjoyed it so much I have bought my own!

Great card game for all the family
Great game for all the family. Bought this as it was cheaper than the uk version. It is exactly the same game apart from the American place names.Object of the game is to collect 3 property sets. Each person starts with 5 cards and works their way towards 3 sets through skill and borrowing/pinching other people's cards.Games last for maybe 10-15 mins max so is quick and easy to play.

Better than the "Real Monopoly"
Wasn't expecting much from this to be honest, but it's great fun (preferable for me to actual Monopoly). Took a little while to get to grips with the rules, but once you have them it is simple to play and good fun, where there can be many twists...and if you think you've got a great hand or are about to win, it can change quickly.

Be careful, I was sent the American one
It looks like this is like a random pick and mix, you could get either the US or UK version... very disappointing really

Lightning Fast Monopoly
Monopoly Deal is a small card game that I had low expectations for. It was on sale so I decided to give it a try.Gameplay: Each player starts with 5 cards in their hand. At the start of their turn, they must draw 2 cards then play up to 3 cards. They can either play an action card, a property card, or any card into their personal bank. At the end of their turn, they must discard down to 7.Playing cards into your personal bank is valuable, because eventually you'll need to pay rent or some other shenanigans will occur requiring you give money to your opponents. The catch is, you can ONLY play money from your bank/property, never your hand, so you always want to have cash on hand or else you'll have to pay from your properties - and change is not given. The game ends when one player has completed 3 sets of properties.Pros:1. The game is quick2. The game doesn't take up much space (box or table play area)3. There is some strategy4. Game teaches set-collection, hand management, and math.5. The game is quickCons:1. There is a lot of luckThe game plays quickly at least compared to normal Monopoly. I like that it is a minimalist sort of game - it's just a deck of cards so it doesn't take up a lot of space on the bookshelf and the game itself is easy to play on a card table. I like that this is an easy game that we can play on a weeknight. What I don't like is that it is highly dependent on luck. There is some strategy, e.g. don't play cards that can complete your opponents set unless you can complete it yourself, because some cards allow properties to be traded or stolen. You might be out of luck if you don't have a card to cancel those effects. And always have some money available to pay up rent - keep the small change, because no change is given! So in a way, this game can teach the concept of hand management - making good decisions on what cards to keep or play. This game has similar amounts of luck as another Hasbro card game, Life Goals. However, that game has a storytelling element. This game is less humorous and the "take-that" or attacks on other players is more prominent; it's a more vicious game.I did with the last game, but the victory seemed hollow - I just happened to be lucky with my card draws. I didn't do anything to win except follow the rules.Other Monopoly games that we've tried recently include Monopoly Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Monopoly Chance. Monopoly Chance is the most different from the standard Monopoly formula and I think definitely worth checking out because it has different game mechanics and vibrant plastic skyscrapers. Although both of those games are longer I think they are more fun than Monopoly Deal.Monopoly Deal is easy to play, it's small/travel-size, but I don't think it's one that I will keep. There are a lot of other card games that are small and quick to play that are more fun.If you are interested in small card games that are easy to play with families, I would recommend instead Life Goals, Timeline or Cardline (at least it's educational and has lots of picture), Similo, or Abandon All Artichokes.

Excelente juego!

Super fun game!
I've had this for many years now and honestly speaking, this is one of the most fun games I've owned. It's fast, it's easy, and it's so fun!Even though the game says 2-5 people, you can play with more than 5. The only problem with more people is that strategy becomes less important and luck prevails and it becomes hard to make 3 sets. I also think it's kind of boring with 2 or even 3 people. The best number is 4-6 in my opinion. The quality of the cards is great, I've had it for years and of course they're worn down, but still do the job. Instructions of the game are included in the pack. You'll need to play it a few times to understand. If you're competitive when it comes to normal monopoly, then you're going to LOVE this! I'd say this has more strategy to it.Best game for it's price!
