I am using the solar panel to power an old battery that will operate a 12v LED light for light in my cargo container.

I had a terrible time trying to get the charge controller to switch from one mode to another. What was even more frustrating is that it kept reading 24 volt system on a 12 volt battery. It kept charging the battery at 19 volts and more. I finally ordered a charge controller from somebody else. I did keep the solar panel as it seems to function well. I did not bother trying to return this item. I would never purchase this again.

This kit is actually not bad. I wanted to get a solar panel set up and get a lifepo4 battery and inverter for camping. I found all of that and I can support small appliances and lights with this setup. I don't need to run a fridge or anything when camping, this is a good size and can supply enough charge to keep my lifepo4 battery running the essentials. I'm happy with this kit and would recommend it for camping. Real camping.

I ordered this set because I thought it would be perfect to keep my big generator charged while its on the pad and so far, it’s doing a fantastic job.Now the caveat, the instructions for charge controller could be better. It is challenging to set up for the battery type that you plan on charging, it's not intuitive at all. That said, once you figure it out it works great.The panel itself seems to be be very well made. It does convert a lot of energy so absolutely no complaints at all with its performance. The charge controller is working just fine so far. I like that it also gives you a couple of USB options to charge other devices and since this is meant to be a trickle charge anyway there should be plenty of energy available.You also get two sets of cables, one with rings and the other with clips so that’s good. Super easy to set up, except for the charge controller but if you get past that you’re good to go.All in all, I’m happy with it and would give it 5 stars if it weren’t for the funky controller.

The charge controller that came with the solar panel worked ok for a few weeks, then started overcharging the 12v lead-acid battery. I checked it again today and it was sending 17 volts to the battery. I disconnected everything, checked battery voltage (17 volts!) reconnected everything in the proper order and it shows to be putting out about 15.7 volts now.So the panel is ok, but the controller is cheap, damaging junk.I took a chance ordering a product that had no reviews, but now they have a least one review.Now I'm shopping for a better controller from a different source.

A moins de demeurer en Arizona vous n'atteindrez probablement jamais 25 watts avec ce panneau mais compte tenu de sa taille c'est tout de même une excellente petite unité. Utilisé pour maintenir la batterie à pleine charge d'une embarcation de pêche avec moteur électrique et quelques autres accessoires. Avec une utilisation limitée à la pêche à la traine du moteur électrique je reviens souvent avec une batterie à 100 % à la fin de la journée.

This is a nice solar panel kit with a well-built panel. The size is not huge, but still bigger than the trickle charge panels. Size is as per desription, so not a surprise.This is not the mini solar panel that solely does trickle charge, this is larger and as such, there may be a risk of overcharging. This is where the controller comes into play, ensuring that the voltage is kept under control.The only option I would need is a distinct AGM/lead-acid since standard SLA should be charged a little lower than AGM..

usb charge port not working since day 1 would like it replaced

Thought was controller but new controller never solved issue test panel and no power coming out.
