So far so good
Olight flashlights are interesting and I like to try out new designs so I had to test out the new Osight. The glass is clear with no distortion but there is a very light tint similar to what Holosun has on their optics with a green reticle. My dot is super round similar to the one in the Sig Romeo1Pro, of course your miles will vary since everyone’s eyes are different. The Osight deck is pretty low. I have it mounted on a RMR milled Glock slide and I am able to use the factory irons sights for back-up.So far, I have put the Osight through 850 rounds of factory 9mm and there has been no change in zero. I even racked the gun by slamming the Osight on the range table. The Osight continued to perform flawlessly. I do plan to do a few drop test soon.I bought this optic to try out a new design – I don’t mind the charging cap, it’s something different. I enjoy the large glass but being this large, I would only use it in competition or as a range toy. And for these 2 purposes, it’s doing the job quite well. The lifetime warranty should give you peace of mind. What’s included with the optic is a pouch for the charging cover, USB type C cable, wind/elevation adjustment tool and a nice small plastic box containing 4 different types of screws: M3.5, M4.0, #4-40, #6-32

Sturdy and well constructed
Unboxing it, you will sure see that this optic is entering high end optic market. Sadly it didn’t work for my application on dove tail mounted optic plates. It is a bit larger than micro optics and that can work for some while others may mot prefer. It is worth a try when looking into optics for price and function

Accuracy and Battery Life
Excellent optic. Love that it’s rechargeable - and that I haven’t had to charge it in 12 hours of shooting. Accurate. Easy to install. Great battery life.

C’mon
I really liked this thing. Wide field of view, fit my FN 509 perfectly, and has one of the coolest charging methods out there. Then my very first shot threw the red dot off by almost an 1/8”. I don’t understand how the red dot technology has been around for so long and yet only the really expensive sights can get it right. Is all the good tech for keeping these sights from moving under recoil patented?Plus when I removed it the screws were super loose. The loctite doesn’t work and the screws provided are too short. I’m surprised it didn’t fly off the pistol. Another 50 rounds and it probably would have. When Olight comes out with their 2nd or 3rd gens of this thing and people stop complaining about the drifting dot I will get another one. For now just had to return it.

It's durable and holds a zero
The Olight Osights hold their zero even though abuse. First, my pistol fell off the bench twice onto a concrete floor and it bounced to a stop and it held it's zero both times in spite of that. Second, to clean my gun I removed the sight from the slide, cleaned the gun in an ultrasonic, replaced the Osight and there was no change in the zero. I have four Osights and five others and so far the Osight is my pick as a durable, priced right sight that is virtually maintenance free. Charging is easy and I don't bring the charging hood with me as the sight has plenty of residual time built in. This is my experience and I'm just saying what I have learned as a buyer because I paid full price for every sight I've got. My Osights are great so far and I'll post an update here if there is something worth saying.

Realistic review for all
So, I rated this not for me but for the people who want an honest unbiased review. With my shooting experience my biggest thing is durability. So, I put this thing through satans obstacle course for just that. Now I will say $140 bucks down the drain because it did not last 4 days. I love the concept and the versatility to charge. However, it does NOT hold the zero nor did it withstand 2000 rounds in 4 days. However, for the price and depending on if you are a home defense type of person who will really only use your weapon in case of a situation as such or a very rare shooter recreationally then, THIS PRODUCT IS FOR YOU. It gets you in the realm of trying new things and really stepping outside the iron sights realm of things to have a little more fun with customizability. So again I will say for frequent experienced shooters NO, for beginners and home defenders product should be amazing for you. I hope this helps.

As described
Haven’t installed it yet, but it does appear to be another good quality product from Olight. The color is perfect and matches my mounted light.
