Anbee RS4 Carrying Case, Storage Shoulder Bag Travel Hard Shell Box Compatible with DJI Ronin RS4 Handheld 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer [Not for DJI RS 4 Pro]

I was looking for a compact case that I could throw into a backpack. Fits the DJI RS4 gimbal perfectly. Appears to be well made. All the pieces fit well and are well protected in a small package.

It's a decent case for the RS4.A tight fit and it seems to do the job well, but I decided to give something else a try instead.As it doesn't allow for a lot for anything else and it also forces me to change my RS4's configuration to make it work in the case, like if I have it balanced with my camera already I have to reset it close to factory to use the case and then have to rebalance the camera all over again.

This is listed as a hard shell case, eehhh, that's kinda pushing the phrase. What I would list this as is a protective case. A hard shell I would take as one that would not collapse under normal pressure or falls. That's not the case with this case, you can push the corners and sides in with your thumb, you can push in on the top or bottom and make them flex.On the inside the fitted sections have a gap from the bottom plate to allow a cushion on impact of a fall, but is that the same a true hard shell?

The case feels like it is built well, and will stand up to my constant traveling with the gimbal. More importantly to me, ever part fits nice and snug without much wasted space in between each section. That makes the the case size overall to be as small as possible without losing protection. I am not a fan of having super large cases when they are not needed.

The good: it's a lightweight case that slides easily into a backpack. All the pieces of the basic system have their place and there really isn't much wasted space. It also doesn't scream "expensive equipment case", so my fear of it being snatched during a shoot is less than a branded case.Buyer be aware: It only fits the basic RS4 system components. No Raveneye. No extra handle. It really doesn't even fit an extra plate in the mesh bag because it'll hit some part of the gimbal when the case is closed. It also has minimal protection against water. Everything also has to be completely reset, so you're leveling from scratch next time. I had been carrying my RS4 in a pick-apart foam Pelican case, and think I will continue to do so when space allows. But will use this for times I want to carry everything in a backpack or deal with air travel.

This is a review for the RS4 Carrying Case, Storage Shoulder Bag Travel Hard Shell Box Compatible with DJI Ronin RS4: In short - the RS4 fits perfectly in the formed case, which is a huge relief given that it comes from DJI without any sort of case or organization to keep all the bits together. The case itself seems well made, with enough padding to prevent scuffs and bumps as you go to/from your shoots, but not the sort of case you'd toss in checked baggage, if you get my drift (it's semi-rigid).the only real downside is that the case itself is molded to the RS4 in its *smallest* configuration, meaning that every time you pack away in this case, you'll have to re-calibrate the gimbal. Also, no room for additional materials (for instance, the remote focus unit and the like), but for what it's advertised for, it's a great fit.

PRODUCT/THOUGHTS:This is a perfect case for the DJI RS4 gimbal. It works out really well so you can fit in the gimbal, accessory handle pieces, and all the little accessories inside the mesh zipper pocket.The handle has some leeway on it so it extends out about an inch on each side. This is a material hard case, so it has a toughened shell but you still need to be careful with it as it’s not the same as a full ABS plastic hard shell.All that being said, I like the overall size of this and it’s working out great for my RS4. It feels compact enough that I can take this along without worrying about taking up too much space. The zippers are good quality.The only complaint I have is the shoulder strap. The material is a bit thin, and the shoulder padding itself isn’t the most comfortable I’ve used, but it’s okay overall. I would probably get a 3rd party shoulder pad or even change out the strap down the line. But it’ll get you by. Can still recommend this case.

Everything fits perfectly. The should strap is a bit flimsy, everything else about it is perfect. It's great, highly recommend it.
