I bought these brakes earlier because I knew that I would need to replace my worn brakes on a 2013 Kia Sorento in the ensuing months. They were shipped from Ontario, Canada and arrived well before the projected delivery date. I finally got to install them three days ago. Wow! The components are heavy duty and extremely well made. The disc rotors are very high quality and expertly machined. The brake pads are well constructed and easily exceed what originally came with the SUV. The installation went smoothly and everything fit perfectly. Pay attention to the seating instructions, The rotors are coated and the manufacturer gives detailed instructions on how to seat the pads and remove the coating in the active braking area. Once the pads were seated, I test drove the vehicle. These brakes are amazing! The Sorento didn't stop this well when it was new. The braking is very even and can be downright aggressive. It took a little getting used to because the original brakes were not this good. The pedal is much firmer, too. My initial impressions are that these brakes are a find and are particularly amazing given how inexpensive they are. I suspect that they will continue to perform at a very high level for many years to come. I have no problem recommending these brakes.

Used this product for a 2008 Honda Civic and it's good quality. Only problem was one of the rotors wasn't the right fit. Might have gotten sent a wrong one, but working on getting it exchanged. All the other rotors and brakes were good.

I don’t like to write reviews till I had a chance to use the product probably have put on 6000 miles since installation work as should very quiet low break. Dust would buy again.

They are rusted and warped after a couple of months, not OEM standards. Were great for the first month but went down hill soon after. Now my car feels like a freight train when I step on the brakes.

Fit my 2007 Honda Civic EX 2DR perfectly. Installed in my car port in about 3 hours for all 4 rotors and pads using basic tools. Hardest part was getting the old rotors off. You can use the brake line hanger bolt to screw into the threaded holes of the rotor to push against the axle flange and pop off the old rotor. You'll also have to unscrew a philips-looking screw which holds the rotor on the axle. Easier said than done.Once installed you'll get really squirrely and uneven braking until the paint rubs off and you get the pads in contact with bare metal.Brakes are working great! No wobbles. Excellent stopping power

I admit when Im wrong, I was hesitant in purchasing the disk and brakes due to the price. I like to check pricing before a purchase and I have always gone to the big corporate stores for my car parts but honestly they have gone up so much Its hard to stay loyal. I checked amazon for my brake pads and rotors the price was amazing I could not pass the deal. The items arrived fairly quickly and I inspected them for any red flags or quality issues but they appeared fairly good quality and weight. I have taken a fairly long toad trip and trust me I went off-roading and climbed steep hills and these babys worked like a charm! Definitely a new customer

August 2024 - CDN$188 - Max Advanced Brakes Front Brake Kit For Mazda CX-5 Naturally Aspirated Replacement Geomet Coated OE Disc Brake Rotors and Ceramic Brake PadsKit showed up well packed within a few days for $100+ less than any local source. All parts needed for a shade tree mechanic like myself including clips, brake quiet packet, etc.Hardest part was removing the old corroded rotors but on my Mazda, they add an M8 bolt hole to make that easier (video tutorials all over the net). Buy a few spare bolts because they seem to strip out one per rotor but last long enough to get the job done and the old rotor is about to get tossed in the bin anyway.Along those rusty lines, I bought the upgraded Geomet coated kit to help with our salty winter roads in future. Seems well worth a very few extra dollars over the basic kit. Bought some anti-seize for the hubs to make it easier next time and also bought extra silicone lube for the compression pins and pad ends. My kit conveniently included a packet of brake quiet that was plenty for the pair of pad back plates.Overall an easy install. Pleased with performance on the first few days of test drives. Will update if that changes but looks good so far. Enough so I'm about to order the coated rear set to match.
