Stainless steel ball versus this "cloth".Used on wooden spoons... the cloth is much less abrasive. Both clean equally well.Used on metal silverware with dried sauce. Both worked equally well. However... the cloth can hold soapy water where the ball really doesn't. That makes a difference.Plastic bowls... no damage.Drinking glasses... no damage.Pots and pans... both clean equally well, but again, the cloth holds soapy water and I feel that is helpful. No damage from either.Damage to fingernails/manicure... happens with both but is more controllable with the cloth.I really feel they both clean well. But with the cloth having a thin sponge between layers, it gives a little extra that I prefer, and a much larger work area.Over time, the ball falls apart. I don't see that happening with the cloth.My vote is for the cloth.

These are the best scrubbers I have ever seen. They clean better than anything I have ever used and do not scratch anything. I've used them on pots, casserole dishes, cleaned my gas stove and even my porcelain sink. Can't say enough good things about them. Will definitely order again.

I'm still not sure how long these will last, but it seems like I'll be storing the other new ones for a while. I usually use a stainless sponge and scrubber sponge for washing, and this looks like it could take the place of those two items. The middle layer may wear out before the two exterior layers. It rinses well. I use it wet with a squirt of dish soap, and I don't expect cooked on food to come off right away any more than I would expect with a stainless sponge. They have to be super cheap to manufacture if they can sell bundles for such a low price. I'd still stay away from the two layer versions. The triple layer at least holds some soap and water for washing. I don't like non-stick pans, but these seem gentle enough if you don't dig too hard. Back in younger days, I've use dish rags that were similar to this but without the abrasive surface. Because I got twelve of these, I'm not sure if I'll ever need to buy them again.

incredible cleaning tool... tried Steel wool ...steel wool with soap...stainless steel pads...all the scratch free plastic pads to clean the glass stove top nothing satisfied us .. this upgrade steel wire dish cloth won over everything we have tried. A perfect clean finish on the complete glass stove top including areas we have scrubbed for years our stove is clean as new like magic we highly recommend this product to anyone desiring a perfectly clean glass stovetop every time the cleaning is done...good luck

When I received them, there was only 12 not 18, then they didn't achieve the cleanliness that it was supposed to.

I was hesitant on the non-scratch claims. They are exactly as described.

It stillLooks like new after many uses and I put it over faucet to dry. I am not sure it does such a good job of cleaning cooking stains on ssteel pots. Still need my pot scrubber and Vim etc to get the stains out
