They work great!
A great home gym solution that’s very affordable. They work well, and no more shoulder tweaks trying to get the heavy dumbbells up into place.

Easy to use and set up, velcro fasteners may be too much for some...
I give an overview and demonstration in the video. I think these dumbbell assists are well made, strong and generally useful. They have a coating on the hooks to protect your bar. They seem stiff and sturdy and are rated to hold >300 lbs. The dumbbells nestle easily into the holders then the velcro wraps secure them tightly. They unrack and rack easily, it didn’t feel like they would slip or rotate as I was gong through the range of motion. I never felt that they were in the way. One issue that I could see having with these is that the velcro straps pad the dumbbell handles and increase the circumference significantly. This may be an issue when the weight gets heavy, and I will update if I experience any negative issues. Another thing that is not an issue for me but may be for some, is that they are a tad narrow and I think that could be an issue for those with larger hands. I think though, that if you workout alone, these can be very useful, and for now I recommend them.

Uncomfortable grip
There's a bent piece of metal at the base where you are meant to grip. You can bend it and manipulate it, but I've yet to find a way to use it that maintains a comfortable grip without gloves. I'm back to muscling dumbbells up onto my chest

Terrible concept do not buy these!
The idea is to start at the top of the eccentric part of the rep. With dumbbells that’s where you have the least control. I normally incline press 105’s but started with 95’s to get a feel for these. It was an epic disaster causing me to have to drop the weights and had I not been wearing wrist wraps I’m sure my wrist would be broken. The Velcro wraps make the grip way too fat and the hanging hooks are too narrow to hang over even a thinner bar. I’m better off just sticking with what I can press up from my chest or get a quick spot. If I could give zero stars I would.
