I've been using this Magnesium for a little bit and it's alright not to bad. It does help a little bit with sleep. All I can say is try for yourself and see what you think.

I take magnesium now daily due to nighttime leg cramps. I have these symptoms when I don't take magnesium so I am trying this brand out. 2 tablets contain 420 mg of magnesium which is 100% the daily dose. Some have found the capsules to be too large but I have found that these caps are standard size in my experience having had magnesium caps from other brands as well. Magnesium glycinate is a very bioavailable and absorbable type of magnesium and DOCTORS' PREFERRED Advanced brand is a trusted source but what makes this better than other magnesium glycinate brands?That being said my issue is more with the affordability factor, I find the the price is a bit steep for a 30-day supply of magnesium especially since there are no other added supplement combinations offered here, just magnesium.

so, ive taken various forms of magnesium, initially oxide to help with a deficiency ( worked well, no issues), ive tried citrate and only had problems with it (diarrhea), and ive take glycinate forms for the added benefit of hopefully better sleep, but was hit or miss. this brand of glycinate works fast, literally within 5-10 minutes i can feel it moving things along in my digestive track and within 20 minutes im already feeling tired/sleepy.ive only been taking 1 a day, since i always start with half dosage when starting a new supplement, and for this one, id highly recommend starting with 1 and realistically only using 1 per day. as ive said, for me, this is really potent, so just one seems like more than enough. almost immediately do i feel bowel movements, so taking a second pill would 100% give bathroom trouble. it also makes me very sleepy, very easily, so this blend of glycinate is very effective in that regard as well. id recommend taking this when youre getting ready to relax/go to sleep, but of course, everyone's body is different so it might not affect you as much, or at all, this is purely a suggestion, be sure to test things out to see how it affects you.as for the pills themselves, when it hits your tongue, you can feel it start to dissolve pretty quickly, so be sure to get it down quick. it has just a neutral powder-y taste, so nothing to worry about there, and it's pretty easy to swallow despite the siize and the weight of each one.im considering switching to this as my go-to magnesium, it's potent, seems very effective in multiple regards, only requires 1 to be useful so i can get double the duration of use from this, and it has not caused any issues. this is the second supplement from this brand that ive tried, and im liking the quality and effectiveness of both different supplements.

Chalky, poor quality for the price. All the good reviews are vine voice I didn't get a free product and you can't even return it.

This gets four stars for meeting expectations, for me five stars is something that exceeds my expectations, this meets my expectations which is still very good.At the time of order, the price was $24.99 which I feel is fair when you look at the source of ingredients and the company Doctors' Preferred.While I can't speak to the effects of Magnesium for everybody I can speak to what I observe and researched.eFor me, I want products that are a better quality, are using rational as to their formula/strength, produced either in the US or are produced for a US Company and has some relationship to a science backed philosophy. This seems to check all of those boxes for me which is why this bottle would be on the higher side of the cost spectrum when comparing cost to other similar supplements.My bottle was ordered and received in May 2024 with an expiration date of April 2026 which is good, I like best by and expiration dates to be 2-3 years out which tends to mean it is closer to production than expiration. As another reviewer said, the bottle is heavy for its size due to it being full to the top which is nice, no wasted space. The pills are closer to big than medium, not something you can mindlessly pop in your mouth, you'll need to follow this with some sort of chaser - I use a gummy supplement to chase my bigger pills.No odd smell or taste, it's a traditional vitamin coming out of the bottle.If you want magnesium to supplement your routine this is an option to consider, it is a standalone supplement which is good for people that don't want ingredients bundled with of other vitamins, minerals or herbs.

But this is also the very first magnesium supplement I ever had taken that set me on the road to nice peaceful comfortable sleep, without the nagging muscle cramps in my legs. I had been taking these pills for approximately 2 1/2 half weeks before I became aware that there are magnesium drops that are easier to take, and taste fantastic. Other than the size of the pills, I have absolutely nothing to fault this pill about. It did absolutely fantastic for me, and made me aware that magnesium was what was missing in my diet. When the magnesium drops are all used up, I will return to these pills, because they are most effective, and fast acting.

Nothing wrong with the product. It didn't cause upset stomach and seemed to be of consistent and reliable quality. However, the pills are huge and uncomfortable to swallow.
