Let me start off by saying, the Apple Smart Folio is a nicely engineered product. The white color version that I bought contrasts beautifully with the Space Gray iPad that I have, and the magnets snaps in seamlessly when I don’t feel like using my Magic Keyboard. The folio has a nice microfiber cloth like material that envelops your iPad and protects it from scratches. The sides however are exposed so unfortunately those are not protected by the folio. But if you take care of your electronics and don’t throw them around like Neanderthals, you should be totally fine.The folio case offers you about 4 different angles to use your iPad and in general, I have little to no complaints on how this case is used.But as with any Apple Product, I have to talk about the “Apple Tax” that comes with it. How is this thing $99?! Any person can search “iPad Pro Folio Case” on this amazing website we are on, and find close to 20+ pages of results, most of them offering as many features (if not more) than this official Apple Folio at a fraction of the cost. I get that Apple needs to make its $$, but $99 for a case that should be AT MOST $50, is a bit ridiculous in my opinion.But if you can look past the cost, and are fully embedded into the Apple Ecosystem, I can fully recommend this case that was made especially for the $1300 piece of hardware you just spent your hard earned money on.

Nachdem ich erst eine no-name Hülle mit Magnetklappteil getestet und dann verworfen hatte, die Magnetklappe war einfach viel zu labbrig und hat nicht richtig gehalten, wollte ich eigentlich nur noch einen minimalen Schutz an meinem iPad anbringen. Also eine Display Schutzfolie und ein dünnes durchsichtiges Case, um die tolle „User Experience“ mit dem dünnen und leichten Design möglichst zu erhalten. Es stellte sich aber schnell heraus, dass man das iPad oft irgendwie aufstellen muss, z.b. beim Training mit dem Home Trainer, im Bad oder in der Küche, beim Kochen etc. Also dann doch lieber ein original Apple Smart Folio für rund 120 Euro? Ich muss sagen, Ja, das ist klar die bessere Wahl. Das Apple Smart Folio fühlt sich nicht nur angenehmer an (gute Haptik), es ist auch wesentlich praktikabler in der Anwendung, da man mittlerweile nicht nur zwei Aufstelloption hat, sondern eher vier oder sogar fünf. In der aufrechten Position gibt es nun mehr Möglichkeiten die schmale Lasche auf der Rückseite des iPads zu verschieben, es gibt offensichtlich mehr Magnetpositionen, das funktioniert wirklich gut. Weiterhin trägt das Apple Folio weniger auf als die no-name Hülle, und schützt das iPad aber trotzdem vor den gröbsten Stößen. Ich habe jetzt, glaube ich, den optimale Companion für mein iPad Pro gefunden, das Smart Folio bleibt jetzt ganz sicher eine ganze Weile drauf.

Je recommande cette protection de très bonne qualité qui va protéger intégralement votre iPad. Il est très bien emballé un 10/10. La qualité des matériaux est vraiment parfaite.
