Not a bad set, some tools are quite small e.g. the hammer.
Arrived as part of the Amazon vine review programme. Not a bad set, some tools are oddly sized hammer to small but allen keys quite big.Pros:The plastic case seems to hold all the tools correctly but its red latches do feel a little weak.Does contain most of the tools which house maintenance requires..The Allen keys are quite big BUT I liked this, I have so many smaller ones which can't get any leverage due to their size. The handles on the long and short nosed pliers provide great grip when using - some cheaper ones usually have the poorer much more slider grips, this was a nice to have.Cons:Odd small sized hammer, unusual but may come in useful for those tighter spaces.Unsure of £44 prices tag when ordered (although has since gone down to £40.99) was worth it for the tools you actually get. Other toolkits on Amazon, look to have more relevant household tools and some are cheaper when compared. Conclusion:Not a bad set at all, will work fine for most household tasks. My favourites were the pliers grips and the oversized Allen keys. Thanks AMZ.

Not great quality, but fairly extensive, and handy for someone with no tools.
I suppose this typically idiosyncratic kit could be handy for occasional use, but nothing in it is of very good quality, and I would struggle to recommend it. I think cheap tools are better these days than in the past, and also probably cheaper, and the individual prices of the 100 pieces in this set average out at 40P (that does include some rubbish wall plugs and soft screws, though), but given that the convenience of the kit case format will be compromised when you inevitably have to add missing or replace broken items that won't fit in the case, you would be better off buying slightly better individual tools or sets as and when needed. For less than £40, you could buy a nice set of Bahco (or equivalent) screwdrivers and a small socket set, for example, that would be a pleasure to use and own. That's what I would do.

Great for small DIY jobs
This is a great little set to keep in the house for smaller jobs. all of the tools you may need for things like hanging pictures, changing batteries, minor repairs etc. Most of the tools are sturdy, though the handles feel a little cheap, but for the price i can't complain. I wouldn't expect the tape measure to last long though... and id avoid using the wall plugs and screws, they are very cheap and you'd be better using "real" hardware. As others have mentioned, the hammer is almost comically small, but it does the job when fitting hooks. Useful case to hold everything too.

Handy for everyday fixes
Having this toolkit around the house has been a real lifesaver. It's got everything I need for those little DIY jobs that always seem to crop up. The tools feel sturdy and well-made, not flimsy like some cheaper sets. The case keeps everything organized, and it's compact enough to store easily. I've used it for everything from fixing a leaky faucet to assembling furniture, and it's always been up to the task. It's a solid, reliable toolkit that I'd recommend to anyone who needs a basic set for around the house.

Olson Deepak 100pcs Tool Set
This product was sent to me to review, as part of Amazon Vine. Below is my own real-world experience of using it.In terms of quality, it appears to be fairly well-made - the case has a sturdy construction, and holds most of the tools well, however there are some spaces that are a little too tight, so it can be difficult to put things back in. As for the tools themselves, they look and feel the part, with ergonomic rubber handles on each. Admittedly, the metal looks a little rough around the edges, but does feel strong. There are so many different bits and pieces included, that you could easily complete most basic DIY projects with this one kit. That makes it an ideal set for, say, someone who is setting up their first home.In summary, a good value item.

Good 'cheap' starter toolkit.
Having a look through this kit, I'd recommend it as a housewarming gift for someone moving into their first home. it seems to have everything needed to assemble flat pack furniture, putting up pictures and making minor repairs. So it's perfect for someone starting out. However it wont be long before you'll want to upgrade your toolkit with stronger or more specialist tools if you're going to be doing DIY in earnest.I actually ordered this for my wife as she rarely does any real DIY but does do the activities I've mentioned above and then leaves 'my tools' in a safe place and not in 'my toolbox'... You know the kind of places... The cupboard under the sink, the kitchen drawers or in the back of her car. I'm hoping that having 'her own' toolkit means I won't have to search high and low looking for 'my' pliers, hammer, screwdriver, etc. that are hidden away in a safe place. It's perfect for her needs and at £40 is a good investment as I won't need to buy expensive replacements for my toolkit when I can't find things or pay a divorce solicitor.

Good starter toolkit
When my kids left home, I gave them each a cordless drill and a basic toolkit, knowing that when you need that sort of thing it's always urgent and after the shops have shut! This toolkit is just right for that sort of purpose: a good selection of tools for most household DIY tasks, from basic electricals and plumbing through furniture assembly and repair. The tools themselves are fairly basic quality, but I'd think would be up to most domestic tasks. The shafts of the screwdrivers seem to be firmly fixed into the handles, the pliers are well-finished and move freely and so-on. Everything fits well into the moulded carry box, and the bright fluoro orange in the handles also means that these tools are less likely to be misplaced! All in all I think this is a good little beginner set, and although perhaps not for the serious DIYer, will be great for most domestic needs.
