Personally loved it.
For me I believe in God and I never planned to have Wicca take over my religion. What I gathered from this book is Wicca can be what you want it to be or what you need it to be for y o u r s e l f. Yeah there’s going to be people that follow certain traditions and just do so many things you maybe wouldn’t want too but the glory of it all is as individuals we can customize some things and Wicca in my opinion is one of those things. You get to choose what feels right, what feels natural, what you care or don’t care to do. I’m sure the people that follow tradition would negatively maybe feel someone isn’t following things right if they don’t do everything to a T but like I said I personally believe it’s meant to be something you want and naturally need not something along the lines of a chore. Reading the book personally felt like things I’ve already felt my entire existence so I legit breezed through that book in like 2 days and I never read or finish books my patience doesn’t allow me. That book kept me wanting more and I can’t wait to read up more on it. It’s okay to read and dive into Wicca, whoever makes you feel weird for doing so or negatively doesn’t support you like experiences I’ve had...choose your path for you and you only. Don’t let people scare you from knowledge. Learning about Wicca is beautiful even if that’s all you do is read. It’s harmless and people need to get ahold of reality that there’s different walks of life.

Insightful and Inspiring, a Must Have
By far the most helpful and informative beginners guide that I’ve read yet. I love how it delves into the history of modern witchcraft/paganism/wicca, and doesn’t try to persuade the reader into only one way of practicing the Craft. The common issue I’ve run into with other guides has been the author trying to sell you on a particular style of practicing, and this book does a wonderful job of remaining unbiased, and encouraging the reader to be open minded and find their own niche within the belief. That’s not to say that it doesn’t give good structural advice too, to someone who is maybe looking for step by step pointers on how to get started. This book really does cover the basics and give you a good idea of how to arrange your altar if you’re unsure, of what tools are best used when and for what purpose, and even has nice little charts near the end of each section that explain which color candles are good for different spells, and which common herbs, crystals/stones, and incense does what.I’d also like to say that the reviews stating this book is “disrespectful to monotheistic, particularly Christian beliefs” are wrong. This book brings up a few times the factual statement of Christianity adopting pagan traditions, and that throughout history the Abrahamic religions have not taken kindly to paganism or witchcraft, both of which are accurate statements.Overall it was a wonderful read (I devoured it in a night!) and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get started.

Very insightful and helpful
This was such a good book to dip my toes into the world of Wicca. She’s very unbiased and she lists tons of other source materials for further studying. Very descriptive but easy to understand if you have never looked into it before such as I have. Would definitely recommend because of the insight and clarity this offers to beginners.

Great Overview for Beginners
What I really enjoyed about this book is Chamberlain's emphasis on finding your own oath and there is no one, true way to the practice. Chamberlain gives a great bird's eyes view of the main branches of "traditional" Wicca and the more nebulous "eclectic" form. The guide didn't force me into one direction or another and emphasized finding your own path.

Great information, but smaller font size
I really like all of the info this author provides about Wicca, while also honoring the tradition of Wicca being a fluid belief system that one can customize as one sees fits, if so inclined. It was nice to see these three books offered together, and it is also cheaper than buying them individually. However, be aware that the print is smaller in this three-books-in-one compilation. As soon as I opened it, I thought, “wow, this is tiny print!”. Based upon the number of pages, and considering the books are all the same size, it seems they did decrease the font size in these combined versions of her books. It probably would not have bothered me 30 years ago, but, being in my 50’s now, it is a bit bothersome. I have decided that I would prefer to pay the few dollars extra for the individual books when I purchase her other titles. I do intend to purchase more of Chamberlain’s works. I would give 5 Stars for the content of the books, but buyers should be aware that the font is smaller in these combine book versions.

So thankful for this book!
I had been drawn to Wicca as a teen, but never looked more into it as I think it just wasn't the right time. Recently decided after having it come up over and over around me to start learning and purchased this book. Couldn't be happier! It is a pleasure to read and gives information in an easy and fun format so even when I am tired from work and caring from my daughter I can relax and understand what I am reading over.I told my closest friend and she was interested so I bought the book for her as well and shes excited to have it arriving this Monday. I highly suggest this to anyone that wants to find more info on the Wiccan religion. I look forward to picking up more books as I go on this journey and now, I have company on the path.

I also am very happy with the little bonus book
I am really enjoying these books, and sincerely appreciate the broad overview and inclusive standpoint of the author. I also am very happy with the little bonus book! I definitely recommend this to anyone just starting out with learning about Wicca, as it is a pretty light read. It is a very good introductory set of books. My only negative note would be that the overview says that book one is Candle Magic, when this book is not included in the set.

Empowering in more than just magical means
This collection of books reads very smoothly and is very inviting for new practitioners of any form of the craft. It provided details on many subjects, some of which I had yet to think of, all without being overwhelming or difficult to digest. Chamberlain's work has made me feel more comfortable upon my own path and has further inspired my desire to read additional works from other authors.

Amazing
This book ( and all the ones I have read and studied thus far ) are so informative and unbiased it makes for such a good starting point to gather all the knowledge and rich history before beginning your own personal spiritual journey. There are things I know now that make so much sense to me that never did before and I can truly say I now have the courage to embrace how I've always felt and leave the " what if?s " behind me. Having a strong uplifting kick up the bottom and reassurance that you aren't the only one struggling to find the best path to follow is what I needed. I've always known deep down this is the way of life i am drawn to due to my open minded upbrining and supernatural experiences that have shaped my understanding and ethics in an unimaginable way. I really do recommend these books so so much if you are just starting out

Perfect introduction
If you are thinking of this as the path for you, or you just want to know more about the subject, this is the perfect book - simply explained, not dogmatic, practical and easy to understand. Just the perfect introduction, even for the profoundly sceptical

3 books in 1
I love Lisa's work. She writes in a way that encourages you read more (and not just her own stuff either) and make up your own mind, never once saying "this is only way".I loved the history these books covered and the information presented in them was simple to understand and take in.

Good reading
I've recently renewed my interest in a Wicca and this kit was a good and interesting reading with new information to me and refreshed memories. I would have enjoyed more in depth informations about some topics, but I understand that the point is to find what gets your attention and keep researching yourself. I'll definitely look into the author's other releases
