Folks I purchased these spouts on 5/12/2022 for 3 of those yellow TSG plastic 5 gallon diesel jerry cans. I got the cans free, they were dirty so I cleaned them and since they did not have spouts I started looking for inexpensive well built spouts.I found this 3 pack for around $18 with free shipping, they looked well made so I ordered them. The package arrived and all contents looked well made with everything that was supposed to be inside in good order.I used the supplied very sharp drill bit to drill the hole for the vent. The spouts course thread collar fits well not to tight. Even the fuel station attendant commented on how well the spouts fit back on the cans.I filled each can with a gallon of diesel fuel and held each one upside down for 10 seconds to see if they would leak, not a drop and no seepage or wetness the next day.I highly recommend these spouts and will probably order more to replace all those hard to use poorly made no-spill spouts on my other fuel containers.I am going to attempt to add some pics to this review but if they are not there it means I was unable to for some tech reason or ignorance of my own.

I have an old-style Blitz five gallon fuel container which had a push-to-pour nozzle and no vent which made fueling engines a real chore. Not only did the design make handling the container (especially when full) unwieldy, I had to keep tilting the container back to let it vent.This kit eliminates all these problems. It has a standard pour nozzle that is an exact fit for the Blitz and includes the correct size drill bit for the vent.I strongly suggest leaving the container empty with the cap off in a ventilated area for a day or so before drilling to ensure there are no residual fumes that could ignite from potential static while drilling.Additionally, try to place the vent higher than the spout if possible. This reduces the chance of spillage when fueling and engine from a full container.I am into my second year with this nozzle and it continues to work great. Filling engines are again easy with no leaking or spillage.

As stated in my headline, if needed, you must be willing to adapt this product to your specific gas cans with government safety nozzles.I have three different cans with various vintages of safety nozzles. The threaded yellow caps in the replacement kit would only fit one; for the other two I had to "borrow" the treaded caps from the old safety nozzle (including having to saw through one of the safety nozzles to get the threaded cap off).The vent caps are pretty straight forward to install; drill the hole and push in. I used a little sealant on them but I don't think you need to. The kit has two styles of vent cap; the push in version I used, and a threaded cap with a tethered strap that I have no idea how this could be used with the safety cans.The included instructions are pretty much worthless; you're going to be mostly on your own to figure out how to get this done.The most important thing after filling your gas cans is to center the replacement nozzle on the threaded neck of the can before you tighten the threaded cap. Guaranteed to leak if the nozzle is not properly centered. If you have a leak, stop filling gas and re-center the nozzle. You will need to center the nozzle each time you fill the can with gas.Now you will be able to gas up your equipment like we used to; no spills, no funnels, and no pain from our arthritic hands!

Only took five minutes to install these spouts and they work great!

These are great to replace the garbage spouts cans come with now. I almost threw away 3 cans I recently bought when I needed cans in a pinch. They were horrible to use. The spouts the cans came with are impossible to get gas to flow and are actually more dangerous in my opinion. I spill more than I get in. So glad I found these. They come with a couple different size threads and the caps screw on to the end of the spout. The vent was super easy to install and even came with the drill bit. Definitely recommend if you want to get rid of those so called safety spouts.

If you’ve ever tried to fill you mower or tractor using the stupid safety spouts they put on gas cans now you know the frustration of trying to keep the safety spout unlocked and pressed inward to open the flow. I’ve replaced them on all of my gas cans with these spouts - everything you need is in the kit and it’s so much easier fueling all of my equipment now. Highly recommend - I’ve bought several of these kits so I could replace the spouts on my diesel fuel containers as well.
