Assembly IS required
A Word of Caution to the Buyer / A Word of Advice to the Seller: On the main page of this table, there is a drawing of a screwdriver and the question "Assembly Required?" followed by "No". Assembly most certainly is required. Maybe that answer should be changed to "Yes", lest anyone who is not at all handy think that this arrives ready to use out of the box. Unless, of course, when they say "no assembly required" they mean you don't have to go out to the woods, fell the tree, saw the wood, etc.That being said, I easily assembled the table by myself in 2 1/4 hours. Other reviews were not kind to the "pictures only" instructions, and though I was sometimes momentarily confused, in the end, I realized that was my fault for hurrying or getting frustrated. Then again, I've been an "Ikea Man" for years, so this wasn't my first ro-dey-oh. The table looks great, it holds the T.V., which is what it's supposed to do, and it holds my new 55 inch Pioneer very nicely. I agree with those that might be leery of recommending this table to those with rambunctious children or pets, but that's not a concern for me personally, so....I really like it!

Flimsy
This is garbage. I am very disappointed. My 16 month old got on it and it bowed so bad I thought it wouldn't break. And she is NOT 110lbs. I'm scared to put my tv on it.

I found this simple to put together and for a college apartment it works well.

Compressed wood (particle board), but good for the price. Nice looking and functional. Nice size.
