The space where the numbers are placed is lined with a matching coloured paper. Unfortunately many of the number were also glued to the board causing ripping of the paper resulting in a damaged board & paper glued to the numbers.

This says its for 2 and upwards in the header, however i look in the description after buying and it says its ‘not suitable for under 3 years’. I gave to my son and he was quick to put one of them in his mouth.

This was bought as a present for our three year old from his birthday wish list. It would be fine, the board and letter pieces seem reasonably well made, there's just one problem. And it's that problem that means I can't recommend this and have to give it one star.Under the letter 'a', there's a picture of an apple, labelled 'Zero'.So someone seems to have got very confused with 'a' and 'z' (which is also, correctly, labelled 'Zero'), and quality control seems to have failed badly. But as this is an educational toy, it's a critical failure I'm afraid!
