Fender Strat in Natural Wood
This fender stratocaster in natural wood is not only a beautiful guitar, but one that sounds good and play’s easily. I am a beginner, but whether you have played 1 or 10 or more years I believe you will find this a wonderful addition to your collection.

Back cover damaged :(
This book is awesome for us guitar nerds. The history, research, details, and pictures are outstanding! The book was well packaged but unfortunately, the back cover of the book I received was damaged. It was obvious that they tried to repair it before shipping it out to me, but the damage is very unfortunate. The book was supposed to be new and I wanted it for my collection. Sigh!

Fender’s greatest guitars from the 40’s till the 70’s
Anything you ever wanted to know about Fender guitars from the 40s till the 70s is in this book I know a lot of history happened since the 70’s but I grew up in the 70’s and believe me there’s a reason you’ll pay 40 grand for a 1958 Stratocaster if you’re a musician this is a piece of Americana by the way I had a 58 Stratocaster I bought in 1972 for for $125 at a pawn shop in fact I have had a lot of the guitars in this book but I digress if you want to know about the historical facts about Fender this book is for you it’s a great coffee table book also! I love this book

Future Collectable Alert
I have to admit up front that I own two of these! The first is a used 1st printing and this one that I just purchased also New Condition is a 2nd printing with a slightly different sleeve . All of the contents are the same however. It is a great book, I have used it in appraisal work. It is good to have a good assortment of information if only to re or re-re-confirm a detail. I also took it on a recent guitar Safari and found a first year offering of a custom color Musicmaster. It was the second book to mention the fact so I made the purchase. The next one they will be pricing more accordingly. Overall I would recommend buying this book and if you can get your hands on a first printing buy it also, or two, of course.

Fender the golden age 1946-1970 Hardback!! Sick! 🎸
2nd Edition nut better than the 1st Edition I think. If you are a true Fender buff then this is a super rad hardback book full of details on the original Fenders Guitars, Amps, Cab and more up to the year 1970. Fender made the first “real” guitar in 1946 and this takes you through the journey and ups/downs of the world of Fender. I enjoy the pictures of some of the worlds most famous guitars and amps!! A true Fender enthusiast’s Dream book!

If you’re a Fender fan, this will keep you occupied. Great reference guide, lots of pictures.
The pictures are just phenomenal. This is a comprehensive guide with the Fender story, timelines for each model of slide guitar, electric and acoustic guitars and amps. They went to some trouble to find rare guitars and examples of even the sales fliers and catalogs, presented in full color. If you’re a big old Fender nerd, this book is for you, it’s got tons of information and makes a decent reference guide for models, paint colors, and quirks that separate one year from another. It’s a nice, coffee table sized edition and worth the price without a doubt.

Excellent!
This is an excellent source of material on Fender instruments and covers a significant amount of detail for the changes to the instruments that occurs over the companies most important era.The book has some stunning photographs of some very rare examples of Fender instruments and i'm honoured to actually own one of the instruments in this book. This is an absolute must have for a vinrage collector.

Amazingly comprehensive and entertaining
Apparently this book took around 10 years to put together, and it shows. I've played guitar for approaching 20 years, and started with a Fender Strat, along with buying every book and magazine I could lay my hands on - so I didn't expect to learn much new.But this book goes into amazing detail, structured around each model of Fender guitar and amp, starting with the first lap steel guitars and going right up to the CBS takeover. The main models are included (Tele, Strat, Precision Bass, etc), but every guitar and amplifier range is given the same intense level of detail - Mustangs, MusicMasters etc. There's also an impressive range of photos showing how each model evolved over time, from prototypes through to yearly updates. If you're interested in acquiring a Fender from the 'golden age', then it's essential. And if you fancy knowing more about the brand and people behind it, whilst daydreaming about a lottery win, then you'll definitely enjoy it.Definitely recommend for guitar geeks.

Great buy for Fender lovers
I bought this book for my Dad who has playing and collecting fenders for over 20 years so this was the perfect gift for him. He loves it which is good enough for me :)The book looks expensive, much more than the cost, as it has a luxurious hard back and full colour images. I can't comment much on the content as it was a gift but once I handed it over to him he kept pointing out images and showing me bands and artists and their guitars. And then went on to show me which images in the book he owns or used to owns, and various gigs he played. This is a must have for any guitar enthusiasts and I have won a lot of brownie points by getting it for my dad.

Beautifully produced
I've always been fascinated by guitars, despite my non nimble fingers being completely incapable of actually playing the guitar in any meaningful way.I got this book on the recommendation of a friend that I used to do elements of music production with at University, and its a beautifully produced book, with excellent imagery and layouts throughout.I was really intrigued to look at the evolution of the fender during its "golden age" and enjoyed reading about some of my favourite bands and artists use of this brand in that time.A top, top quality book

Probably the best, and certainly the most interesting
Probably the best, and certainly the most interesting, book ever to be written about Fender's golden age. I highly recommend it to anyone with the slightest interested in Fender guitars.
