Sybil

I bought this CD many years ago for £1 as it had no cover and I loved it, so when I found it on Amazon I ordered another copy as I would hate for anything to happen to the only copy I had. The songs are all very catchy, very upbeat, sung with a fantastic voice. Sybil is great and I would recommend this CD to anyone as it is very easy to listen to and very enjoyable.

I just bought both of Sybil's albums and she is an amazing singer. She is really mostly known for her major hit single "Don't Make Me Over" which is from this album, her self-titled debut. Salt-N-Pepa wasn't credited on the back cover but they appear on the song "Crazy For You". "Bad Beats Suite" is a good dance song. Sybil is known for being both R&B and Dance, kind of the same way that artists like Deborah Cox have recorded songs that are both dance and R&B. But what I like the most about Sybil is that although she is an R&B artist, she is not a hip hop artist. She is a true soul artist who also does dance music. Sybil isn't the most famous soul/dance artist of the late 80's/early 90's but her music is truly legendary to those who are "in the know". She is the kind of artist where you could buy her albums and enjoy every single song, not just the hits. "Sybil" is a stunning debut album for an amazing singer who deserves to be more well known than she is. Her other album "Doin It Now" is also phenomenal.

Excellent!! Memories of my military days came flashing back, organizations and company parties filled with great music and lots of fun!!

The cd was a good price but I had problems with it's performance.
