These ramps have some heft, making them plenty strong enough to load a lawnmower.We're using them to load a mower, a welder, a generator, and a utility cart onto a trailer, and since the wheelbase is different on each it's working out better not to install the handles. The handles would make these ramps a bit easier to carry, but it's not too bad without.I'm not sure about the pictures that show them attached to the tailgate on a pickup truck - there's a caution on these ramps not to have one end more than 18.8 inches above ground.The surface has teeth to increase traction when loading. This feature is VERY good for balloon tires, but made loading harder for the cart because it has 2" casters. I'll probably put either tires or bigger casters on the cart to make it easier to load and to move around at a work site.

I haven't used this on my truck or utility trailer yet but I have been using this to move stuff into my 20' shipping container. It's about 15" off the ground and it makes it so much easier to dolly my stuff up into it, instead of trying to lift it up onto the container. This is easy to use and just folds out. making my life a whole lot easier. It's very lightweight and easy to use so it's a win win for us.

These loading ramps are really great quality. They are very well made and the craftsmanship is really nice.

Handles me on a lawn mower with no issues. Probably 800lbs combined. Light enough to move around with one person. Highly recommend.

I got a small garden tractor that weighs about 800lbs on these ramps and they bent badly. I hammered them back into shape and will weld some 1/4inch flat bar to the sides to stiffen them up. I suspect these would work fine for loads up to 400 or maybe 500 pounds or you could just weld them solid like me which kinda defeats the point of folding ramps.
