I have used some other 200ish each intercom before, and this intercom has range, battery and functions on par with those latest ones.This one works for me in over 600ft range in urban area. Sound is pretty clear, you can notice it's digitally processed though. Battery has no problem for a whole day event shooting around 6hrs to 8 hrs. I have tried this on a fashion show and a wedding.The features most useful for me is the noise cancellation. It also has the ability to use master intercom to mute all other ones, and set any of the 5 intercoms as a master one, which will be very helpful under some condition.I really hope it comes with more batteries and a large charging bay, like 8 batteries and a 8 slots bay. Hope their will be standalone batteries available soon.Overall I'm pretty satisfied.

For the last 2 weeks we've used these for Tech communication at church and it's been a cheap alternative compared to much more expensive 2-ways, but they seem to function monophonic as when I happen to have other audio in my background the team hears me incoherently.

They even have noise canceling, which is amazing at this price point. From what I've read, the sound quality is clear, range is impressive, and latency is low. Love that you can use them as headphones with the 3.5mm input for camera audio monitoring. Seems perfect for a first intercom set or an affordable upgrade. Can't wait to test them out!

High quality at an affordable price. We use them to communicate on a boat. The sound is very clear. Headset stays on securely. I like that the on/off button is a switch so you can readily tell if they are on or off. The battery compartment has a good solid latch that is easy to open. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Just used it last weekend. It is great intercoms at such price! I have hollyland with 4 in a set cost 1000 dollars. This one with 5 in a set just half price. With noise canceling which my hollyland doesn't. Acceptable latency for communication usage, clear and long range talking. Also, you can use it as a headphone with 3.5mm input for camera audio monitor. If you are looking for your first set of intercom, just get it.

While these are marketed for use on a movie set, or for videographers, they are extremely helpful for a variety of other use cases. I don’t have a movie production communication need, however there are more times than I can count in which I’ve needed hands free full duplex communication with someone in another area but was stuck with push to talk. In pretty much every situation where I have used those little push to talk FM radios in which their size doesn’t matter and I could benefit from hands free, I’ve switched to this pair of headsets.Here’s a few of the scenarios I’ve used them in so far:- Clearing a clogged drainage pipe going from my backyard and exiting out at the street, I was able to talk to my son to get feedback on how it was going on the other end, while still using both hands to work on clearing the jam.- Trying to identify which breaker controlled some outlets in an upstairs bedroom, while standing at the breaker box with my son upstairs.- Backing my travel trailer into the narrow space along the side of my house, I could keep my hands on the wheel and maneuver without sticking my head out and yelling back and forth.- While on the roof of our second story house while setting up a cell phone booster antenna, I could make adjustments and hang on, while asking for feedback from inside the house.While this is what I’ve used it for, I’m sure the list of other use cases goes on and on.I have found that the audio is extremely clear, and while they’ve been amazing at the ranges I work with, I can’t comment on longer distance performance. The same goes for battery life, and they’ve been excellent for me, however I have not pushed them for more than a half hour at any given time; though from use to use they have lasted quite a while between charges.Overall, I’m very happy with this communication system. Its performance has exceeded expectations for my use cases, and I can only imagine that it would do equally well for those it was designed for. I think they are a good value for what they are- they perform well, they are light weight and comfortable without feeling low quality, and price-wise they are cheaper than other competing brands. Also while I don’t envision a need to expand on the system for my use cases, the fact that you can is a nice bonus. I do wish they came with a nicer means of storage than the fabric slip cases they came with, but that of course would have impacted the overall price, and I feel like they’ve struck the right balance between features, performance, and price as it is.

Useful for wedding and event videograpy.And sure these look fancy, but don't get all riled up just yet.Having headsets to communicate is much better than having nothing at all. These are a decent solution if on a budget. My main gripe with these headsets is the delay, which is roughly 0.5 seconds. So it isn't truly "real-time" but it does get the job done.Other from that, I find that the side with the battery doesn't hug the side of my head as much as it should. The fit should be tighter, and I think I have an average-sized head.With all of that said, this intercom headset system is still pretty good. I'm concerned about interference, but so far I haven't had issues.Recommended.

Wow, these really up the game when you're running smaller productions. I never realized how much that extra layer of communication could help out even when it's just me and another friend working on shoots. They are easy to set up and feel really comfortable. They sound just fine, nothing perfect but clear enough and high quality materials.All in all love the design and how well these function!
