Not sure what to call this
To start, Eafengrow knifes, such as this one, are manufactured in China. The steel used is pretty generic to most models, but it is the tempering that defines the quality of the blade. The knife wasn't the sharpest and could use a little polishing and stropping to get a decent edge. Not sure what category to put this in as it is highlighted as a full tang but comes across as a Karambit style blade. The materials used are of higher-than-normal quality and is above average for a knife of this type. The overall design limits the knife to what type of environment it is suited for or just how it can be used efficiently. Not your typical EDC one would expect to find but can hold its own. Good length and feels secure in the hand. I'm sure it has a purpose, but I have yet to find out what that is. It is a well-made and well thought out knife that can be used. Good investment to make for a good all-around utility knife that can be carried in a day-pack or over-night pack. Small, yet efficient.

this knife is honestly a great buy whether as a gift for a friend, or for yourself this is a great knife

Very stout
Long handle with a large ring. My XL sausage fingers fit perfectly . Handle has a good guard on bottom and nice jimping on top. Finger choil and blade shape allow good choke up options for detailed work. Blade shape will be good for slashing and trapping. Sheath surprised me, fits really well with no rattle and perfect tension. Another great knife from Eafengrow at a price anyone can afford

Useful?
I bought this on a whim I'm not sure what it's useful for but it's an interesting piece. The quality is great and she's great that's all fine the ergonomics are a little rough, the handle needs to be more curved in order to use the ring at the end better. Curiosity really but I don't regret buying it. They make a great knife.

Bigger than i wanted but you cant get a serious self defense weapon and a fun spinner in one so think of that
