Great quality panels for the price.
These panels arrived in good shape. They are well made. When tested in the Texas heat of 95F they output about 70 Watts which is pretty much the norm for these kinds of panels. Great value for money.

Excellent.
This is a replacement item... my first order arrived and the panel was smashed inside the box. I'm not sure if it was shipping damage, but Amazon replaced it.This one is perfectly fine. I will be mounting it near the chicken coop, along with a charge controller and a LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery. We want to run a few things on solar power out at the coop, like fans, lights, and a water pump. This will be a great fit for us. I like that it is 100 watts because it can quickly charge the battery on days which might be partly cloudy. If we used a smaller panel, we'd need more direct sunlight to accomplish the same task.

Shoo clouds…shoo!
I’d like to give this panel a fair test, but the weather just has not been in my favor ever since receiving it. I’ve come to the conclusion that all I need to attract cloudy skies and rain is to purchase something online that relies entirely on solar power. Here’s what I am able to observe. The panel came well packaged in a sturdy box with a handle. I may keep it to store it. Although this panel is smaller in size than others I own, it’s heavier which was surprising. It feels a bit more rugged so it might be able to handle bad weather better. I connected it to a 1000 watt powerstation when the sun was strongest, but overcast and the maximum watts produced from this 100 watt panel was 37. This was after trying a myriad of various angles. When conditions aren’t exactly perfect as in this instance, my larger 100 watt monocrystalline panels do better. They cost a bit more, but I’m thinking the lighter weight and better performance are worth it.

Very satisfied.
I bought one at first to test out the efficiency of the solar panel and I was impressed. I bought another one and hook them up parallel. My mistake was in throwing a way the first box. That said, the product is packaged well. I used the panels for portable applications. The value of this unit makes one feel.like a champ.

Price is right for this type & quality of panel
For an 18% efficient panel, this is a reasonable deal. It is straightforward polycrystalline panel that demonstrates all the known drawbacks including sensitivity to temperature and shade, there is nothing special or problematic if you know what you're getting yourself into. It's on the heavy side to be honest but I'll chalk that up to the state application, RVs and Boats can be unstable that require a bit more protection and durability. If you run your numbers and find the right MPPT to go with this you'll be content, I am.

Scorch marks on a brand new panel
I was super excited to install this on my van didn't notice until I first got it out in the sun that there were little brown scorch marks all over the panel. Producing very low wattage in full sun. I will be returning it and going with another brand.

A Very Good Solar Panel
This review is for the HQST 100W 12V Polycrystalline Solar Panel, High Efficiency, Waterproof for RVs Motorhomes Cabins Marine Boat Off Grid:SPECs: 100W 12V Polycrystalline Solar Panel Dim: 35.5" x 26" x 1.18" About 14lbsI had to wait for over a week to get a fleeting moment of sunshine in LA. ( lower Alabama). Once I did I quickly set into action to test this panel for our viewers. I used a 600 Watt solar generator and plugged the solar panel directly into the port using an adaptor cable. Operating voltage was 18V and incoming wattage was 72W. Amps were steady 4A incoming. Using a solar alignment cube I was able to find the optimum angle. It didn't take very long and the cloud coverage began interfering. However it gave me a chance to view the performance drop as they covered the sun. It didn't take much clouds to drop the charging watt to around the 42W mark. As more and more clouds formed it went to 20 ish watts and then stopped charging all together. So I have to say I test a lot of solar panels of all kinds. Portable and Rigid. I must say this one performed very well in direct full sunshine. What impressed me the most was the asking price of $59.99. If you have been doing your research as I do you will know this is an Awesome Price!. Just saying!Pros: It comes with MC4 connectors - It is solar clip ready but no clips included - Soldering and Panel construction was top notch for this price range. Performance was on near on spec for Amps and Voltage - Wattage at optimal angle was 72W. About right for most of these type panels.Cons: Okay... 28 Watts less than advertised - I can't say I have ever really got 100W from any panel rated for 100W. So I really can't ding for this. Again it is almost half the price of other similarly rated panels.Rating:1 Star for its nice size1 Star for its "Good Output in Watts"1 Star for its Good Construction and Quality2 Stars for the great price!Total 5 Stars for this panel. I can totally recommend for RV, Camping or Cabin off grid needs.
