I really like the option of a locking carabiner. It keeps my keys on my water bottle and I don't have to worry about them falling and getting lost. I need one for work now, but I would need it bigger than this one. Definitely recommend and will be purchasing more. :)

I'm klutzy and people joke that I have too many keys. I working on whittling that down. My way of preventing key loss is to clip them onto belt loops, and this carabiner has remained tight and hasn't lost its grip. Great deal.

This is a very tight, and well engineered locking carabiner. The action is smooth, but stiff. If you have larger fingers, it is a little difficult to unlock the action. If you need to access your keys non-stop, this probably isn't the right key chain for you. But if you only need to take keys off your belt a few times a day, this is good added security knowing your keys will be there when you need them.

The media could not be loaded.  The fliplock carabiner is stainless steel, extremely well made, strong and sturdy. It is small and has a key ring attached so you can hook it to any loop or link. It’s light weight because of its size but it’s thick stainless steel, which is what helps with the durability. At first, I thought it might be too small since it doesn’t have as much clearance on the clip for thicker loops/links but it does fit onto most things and works really well.The carabiner has a metal piece that flips down or up which holds the clip in a locked or unlocked position. This is quite effective at keeping the carabiner closed and reinforces how solid it’s locked, so once it’s pushed down in place it does not come off. It takes a little getting used to since it doesn’t lock like a regular carabiner but once you start using it you love it. Because it’s sturdy it also works well if you just push your loop/link you are attaching it to into the spring clip section because the spring makes it flexible enough to just clip right on. This means you do not have to push the clip part open with your finger just put pressure on the back side of the carabiner and it just opens up for quick easy hooking (see video).I highly recommend this carabiner and I think it’s well worth the price!!

with the locking latch in place, thieves will this harder to quickly open and pocket the keychain or whatever you have clipped on this device. Not impossible, but they would be slowed down enough for me to react. (I've watched someone have their keys stolen this way in the middle of a holiday crowd, so I feel more confident having this on my keychain.

We use this to attach small bags to sports bags. I like the strength the clip offers, and the locking feature can also be helpful. Feels very sturdy.

The media could not be loaded.  Recently, my circular key chain lock fell apart while I was walking thru a parking lot, and I didn't hear it when my keys hit the pavement. Fortunately, I found all of them. When I got home, I found this locking keychain carabiner & decided to try it out.For the most part it fits my needs. The lock mechanism is VERY tight & small, so it's difficult to open it. It's great it locks into place this way, but I do worry that the hinge piece may fail over time as it seems little poorly made. But time will tell. Even if that does fail, its unlikely the clip will easily come apart right away.It's a bit heavy for the size. I don't care for a heavy keychain, so this is kind of a bummer.But, hey, it's better than losing my keys again.

This is a small, nicely crafted keychain - comes with a GOOD quality keychain - the flat spring kind - I am always impressed when they go the extra mile and make sure the MAIN part of a keychain is good quality. They went one better on this one and included a small lock on the caribiner to keep it securely closed once you have it on a backpack or belt loop. NICE TOUCH!!
