Pieces of Us

They've done it again!
TB and Miranda are my favorite writing duo and they've done it again. Like all of their books, Pieces Of Us has strong yet complex characters, great pacing, humor, tears, and ultimately a happy ending. Sadie and Julianna start as employee and boss when workaholic Julianna is unexpectedly made responsible for her adorable 9 year old niece Jadyn Sadie is hired through an agency as a temporary nanny. After a very rocky beginning between the two, separated and straight Julianna starts to have feelings for the younger, slow to trust Sadie. The development of their relationship, the running storyline, and the supporting cast all make for a wonderful read you both don't want to put down and don't want to end.

cute book
It’s a good book that made me smile goofy my only minor issue is the pacing felt off. Sometimes it felt too fast and others not so much but I loved the story

this is the book i needed!
I had just finished an angst, drama filled difficult book with characters that frustrated me. This book was a wonderful gift. It is a sweet book with some difficult issues raised, but raised in a way that seemed genuine and all part of the story. The characters are like-able and funny, with colorful side characters. It is a warmhearted story that confirms that a family can be what you build if not what you were given. Thank you to these wonderful authors!!

Another great story.
I read every book these two collaborate on (and most of their individual ones, as well). Well developed story line & plot, great characters, witty banter, and some of the best love scenes on paper. Julianna & Sadie's story will keep you invested thru the entire book.

Another hit!
TB and Miranda nail another engaging , warm, and sometimes funny entanglement about real life. Even in the grips of painful family moments there is compassion for all the characters.

Sapphic Age Gap Romance!
Great book! Loved the MCs! Julianna and Sadie both learned to trust not only themselves but each other too. Their tension/connection was palpable and intriguing. Everything ‘fit’ together. For over 70% of the book, I could hardly put it down. After, I found it a little choppy as in I had to keep going back and forth wondering about time changes and some situation changes. They seemed a bit forced for a bit but then the story came together nicely. Recommend!

Another fantastic story by TB and Miranda
This is such a wonderful story. It has a heartwarming plot and beautiful characters, without the normal drama. There is a bit of heat, but not so much that it distracts from the real story. And we really enjoy the way TB and Miranda give the villain his comeuppance that he absolutely deserves.

another great collaboration
T.B and Miranda are an epic duo when it comes to writing. Time and again they have hit after hit. This one, I did have a few issues with though. The main characters are great, however I feel as though you don’t really get to know them until over halfway through. The snippets we get before that only make sense once you have the bigger story.Side characters are a mixed bag I’m sure you’ll agree. One I thought was a little overbearing but redeemed himself by the end. Another needed a kick to the nethers. The character holding this book together has to be Jaydn. For a 9 year old that’s big shoes to fill. There is a lot of time skips in this one, and maybe that’s why I felt we missed out on so much. It was kind of meet, fire then rehire, do I like her?, internal I love yous, get together and…. I’m left lacking. This won’t stop me from reading other books my this pair, and it shouldn’t stop you reading this. It is a fun read, it’s just not the best of them.

Sadie & Julianna
Another successful collaboration between T.B & Miranda, this has a strong storyline & wonderful MCs whose journey from an employer/employee relationship to a more romantic & intimate one contains many familiar tropes, but always enjoyable when they are this well written (age-gap/repressing true feelings/melting ice queen/turning straight to gay/A-hole SWM ex-husband)This one is stronger on family ties than bedroom antics but is overall no less enjoyable for that. Both authors are a guarantee of quality whether they write solo or as a pair, I recommend delving into their back catalogue if this is the first time you’ve dipped a toe into their works.
