Okay
This asian zing sauce tastes like a sweet soy sauce. It tastes good on fried wings.

Sweet. Savory. Spicy. SOLID.
First of all, we don’t eat out much and I’m not sure we’ve ever tried Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s a recognizable chain restaurant brand though and I know that it’s popular so I wanted to give the Asian Zing Sauce a try. The listing photos show that the company rates it halfway between ‘Mild’ and ‘Wild’. I like spicy stuff and ginger; the front of the bottle lists the sauce as Chili pepper, soy, and ginger flavors. It was a great sauce for me! While many people may put this sauce on unoriginal things such as… chicken wings… we decided to see what it was like on unconventional foods such as steak and cheese calzones, lobster cakes, and crab cakes. The consensus was that it was super flavorful, a bit sweet with a strong ginger taste, and it was make-my-nose-run but fantastically spicy for me. It just hit all the right notes and paired well with a variety of foods. Another person in my house has a lower spice tolerance but they also really liked it, just had to be a little careful about how much they used.I’m not used to bringing a sauce home and being impressed with how full of flavor it is, so this was a fun surprise for me. I’m glad it came in a 2-pack so that we have a backup bottle. I already have tons of ideas for using this sauce on a bunch of different foods.

Perfect Blend of Flavors
My family and I are huge fans of Buffalo Wild Wings. We had never tried this Wild Asian Zing Sauce before as there are so many different sauces to try when we visit the restaurant. We had just received some fresh vegetables from a neighbor’s garden so we wanted an authentic sauce to make an Asian stir fry. This sauce was comparable to my favorite Chinese restaurant, but with all of the delicious combination of flavors that only Buffalo Wild Wings can provide in their sauces.I would classify it as medium heat. The flavors of chili, soy and ginger were balanced perfectly. The sauce delivered a burst of flavor with no aftertaste hanging around. It was just the right balance of zesty and sweet. It was thick enough to cling to the food well during the last few minutes of cooking. It was comparable in price to other gourmet sauces, and it was convenient to get a two pack. I would highly recommend this sauce.

Delicious Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing Sauce but 1st ingredient is high fructose corn syrup
This Asian zing sauce by Buffalo Wild Wings is just like the sauce in their restaurant. It has a great flavor and is almost too spicy for me (I can’t handle very spicy) and it provides a different flavor than a traditional buffalo wing sauce. I particularly love the ginger flavor that comes out in the flavor of the sauce. The online listing doesn’t show ingredients and I was disappointed to read that this sauce is made with high fructose corn syrup - it’s the 1st ingredient! The sauce is very sweet tasting and the sugar content is a whopping 19g per tablespoon! Having made some teriyaki dishes from scratch I do know there is a lot of sugar in this type of sauce so it actually shouldn’t surprise me.This sauce is just as thick as their spicy garlic sauce and it sticks to foods well.Though this sauce is very tasty, I’m taking off a star for the high fructose corn syrup. I will still use this sauce on occasion until it’s gone, but that ingredient is one I typically avoid.

Delicious Asian "Zing"
It's so good. it honestly tastes just like you would imagine, sweet a little heat, soy flavor and did I mention sweet? I guess from the looks of it (it's slightly red), it looks like sweet and sour sauce with soysauce. The ingredients are definitely not for the health conscious, with the first ingredient being high fructose corn syrup. but it's so good and so versatile. I've used this on meats, mixed it with oils and soy sauce as dressing and even in stir frys. The taste is addictive!

Yikes if You Don't Love Sugar and Spice
Personally, I would love this sauce if it had half the heat and none of the sugar, but I can appreciate that a lot of people will love it.This pair of plastic bottles comes wonderfully packaged with the tops in tight, perforated plastic and safety shields underneath. Each is 12 fluid ounces, which is generous, especially when doubled. The sauce itself is thick and viscous, and there is a plastic flip top. I can picture this sauce on all kinds of meat, including wings, and even as a dip for chips and pretzels. So far, so good, right? The taste combining chili pepper, soy and ginger really is delicious. It's just that there is such a high concentration of peppers -- whoa! And, at the same time, high corn syrup is the first ingredient. Yuck. The product page description, under ingredients, just says "sugar," and there is an opaque label over both bottles that i received, obscuring some of the ingredients. But I can see (and taste) that "sugar" appears somewhere in the middle.Because of the corn syrup and sugar content (and who knows what else, since I can't see the whole label), I would never buy this product in the grocery store. it won't be my go-to, but people who are less fussy about what's in their food may well enjoy it.

Tasty and Tantalizing, But the Ingredients Are Compromising
Make no mistake about it, this is a tasty sauce. Perfect for noodles, chicken and meat, great as a dipping sauce or a marinade for wings or a stir fry sauce. The predominant flavors here are soy, ginger and chili peppers. It has an ever-present and energizing heat amidst an over-the-top sweetness. (Funnily enough, my ex used to say the same thing about me.) The sauce comes in plastic bottles, which will likely delight some, but annoy others. It’s delicious and addictive. At the same time, however, it also has a lot of things in it that I wish it didn’t. The number one ingredient here is high fructose corn syrup! Really? In 2024, they’re still using HFCS? I can’t read most of the rest of the ingredients because they placed a label over part of that panel. I think that’s because they wanted to cover the UPC. But they also inadvertently blocked the list of ingredients. I do see modified corn starch and sugar in there, both of which I was disappointed to see. This is tasty stuff, but I see this being used as an occasional treat - based on the ingredients - rather than having it become a kitchen staple.
