Tool bent first use, do not buy

I service all the brakes for my family's cars, and I have gotten pretty proficient at it. But the one thing that drives me nuts is compressing the brake caliper. Each car seems to have a different caliper design, and I have to figure out how to insert and fit my caliper compression tool into it.But not anymore! This compression tool allows me to compress the caliper bellows without having to feed the clamp through the entire assembly, instead, it expands. To use, you just twist the handle until both plates can fit in the space your rotor normally fits, then twist the handle to expand the plates, pushing the caliper open and compressing the bellows. So this product winds up fitting EVERY disk brake model, so no more constantly looking for the right disk to fit the drum! And it works with or without the pads installed! Perhaps my favorite aspect of this tool is that the screw that opens and closes the clamps has a 1/2" socket at the end, so I can use power tools instead of having to turn the twisty bar thing by hand!I love it! As far as durability, I have only used it on one car so far, so will report back in a year to see how it is going. But if you don't see any follow-up, assume that I am still loving it!

For those of us that still do some work on our vehicles it works great, far better than using a c-clamp much easier to get in place. Great quality value product.
