Caught zero flies
Placed this directly above my fruit bowl and it hasn't caught a single fly in over a month, despite there being a lot over the hot weather.

Ok
This did work and caught many flies but I wanted this for my kitchen and the tallness of the plug meant it wouldn’t fit otherwise would have been great. I use in my hallway instead and returned one of the two I bought due to its size

Pretty good product but not sustainable.
The media could not be loaded. The idea is UV light attracts flys and mosquitos, this is actually true if they are in the vicinity of the area, from far away they cannot actually see such small light, after attracting them the shine on the pad is just too good for them not to land on to admire the light, as they do the sticky area grabs them and they are down for the count.Overnight this didn't catch any, but to be fair I have setup proper mosquito/fly repellent the electronic kind that zaps them, this product is just light, doesn't zap them, but you can only hope they land on the adhesive side. The problem I have is the area of effect adhesion, it's too small, and not sustainable to keep replacing pads even if it's every few weeks or a month, not when you compare it to the nearly infinite UV lamps that actually shock them. There are 5 pads and the arrow which I figured out eventually, points and goes in dowards, after peeling the film first that is, It can actually go in either way, and I found that funny because it doesn't matter which way it goes in.There are two lights, the UV light and the night light. The night light is more powerful than the UV light, but won't attract mosquitos like the UV does. As a night light I'd still rather leave the UV on, and this product does work better at night in dark areas, just doesn't work when you have a large kitchen or room, and the plug it all the way across the other side of the room, it works better in the middle of a room, and also within the vicinity of a mosquito, fly etc..The plug also takes up a lot of space, I mean it's so much space that I can't even see the light switch. I would say, what I like as a whole:--It does work, but only in the vicinity of a moth/mosquito etc...--Easy to use, and replace the pads when they are full or upto 30 days.--Like it says there was no smell, or chemicals.-- Only 1.8w electric usage. What I didn't like:--Not really an effective and sustainable capture method, compared to that of a UV electric lamp.--UV light area is too small, and not as bright as I would like it to be, but it may then need to use more watts.--Plug is wide, and takes up huge space, may not fit with some plugs. How to use:Just slot the pad in downwards, plug it in, press the button cycle through UV light, night light then off, it's all done manually, there's no auto mode, and also if you do get it, don't recommend using night light, it's just pointless if the UV light is there, which is the main focus that does the attracting better than the night light by far due to it's wave length.

Works
Set it up with the blue light, it caught a mosquito after one night. Can't really argue with immediate results.

It works. Definitely a good, budget bug control option
I normally use a bug zapper, but the noise from it zapping bugs can get a little annoying at night. That's where this plug in sticky trap works. The LEDs attract the bugs, then they get stuck to the card. Simple as that. It's a basic concept, but it works.Definitely recommended. This works well and is definitely recomdeded for smaller locatio s where a full bug zapper cantfix.
