Many deprected nodejs packages, and Kinda Free Tier Amazon Web Services, assumes MACintosh only
There are a few issues, which I was able to work through for the most part, but they should be addressed before you purchase this book.Ch. 2 Running Servers has you set up an Ubuntu Server on Amazon Web Services EC2. No problem, except for a few things. After you set this server up they want to to set up another EC2 linux server, which is not available on the Free Tier, and the Free Tier itself has its own issues with regards to avoiding a large surprise bill, and I happen to be a college student and cannot afford Free Tier surprise bills. Also, half the packages it wanted me to install with npm on the Ubuntu server were deprecated or not yet available on the updated version of nodejs, and you update everything throughout the chapter so I had to find entirely other ways to accomplish the same task, which is a frustratingly time consuming process. Also, the authors assume MAC and do not mention anything for Windows or Linux, but Linux also uses bash and wasn't to big of an issue, and Windows can do it but again it is frustratingly time consuming to work around. Many things in this book are that way. The first 2 chapters are a few hours worth of setting everything up, and while it is nice to use AWS and get some experience, you are screwed if you already used a free tier account. A lot of this hassle could have been avoided had the book focused on the MEAN stack and used localhost for everything rather than waste all that time dealing with the setup work arounds and AWS Free Tier crud.

Great Read! Very Clear & Informative
This book helped me out a lot! Very clear and easy to follow code examples was a big PLUS!Coverage of the entire JavaScript Framework Stack for MEAN development was well presented in this book.Following this book cover to cover will result in a quality finished product you created and can deploy to servers!

only for mac
Only mac instructions, I think this is a mistake because not all readers use mac to development (this is my case). I think that info must be clear in book description.

Job well done to the author!
This book is awesome! It covers everything from development to to distribution and deployment. I'm so glad the author included chapters that featured vagrant, grunt, and continuous integration.

Documentation is excellent. This really helped me setup automation tests and CI/CD for my mobile project. It has in depth examples of complex solutions.
