The first time I've ever used a gimbal and after reading so much and watching reviews online I decided to go for this Aochuan Smart X Pro. After just a few minutes, I knew I had made the right decision. I have Samsung S22 and will be moving to a S25 in the coming months, which dictated a lot of my decision making.Pros:- Light, I watch so many videos of people holding gimbals with 2 hands, but this thing is so light you really don't need the 2nd hand.- Balancing, I was worried about this more than anything else. Many reviews and comments online mention the difficulty, but I got it done correctly on my 3rd attempt. The first 2 tries I made the mistake of trying to be too smart.- App, I downloaded the app and within a minute I had connected it to the gimbal and was already recording.- Features, I haven't even got around to every mode, but so far I have tested interception mode, panoramic and video and guess what - you push the button and it does the rest like magic.- Battery - the version I have comes with a USB TO USB-C cable and has a large battery.- Packaging - well packaged, see photosCons- So far my only concern is how long this will last because I've just opened it up. But if I can get a couple of years out of it, I will be pleased.Rarely have I been so pleased after buying a product.

This is a device when looking you can easily go down a rabbit hole however this is a great device. Spot on. Very happy with the results

Smart X Pro with AiMy first gimbal and it works fine on my Samsung S24 Ultra with a Nillkin thin case on. No need to take the case off and phone isn't too heavy.Great features that I'm still learning but well worth it.Video and photo quality is great. Build quality feels good.Nice and versatile enough to fold down fairly small for a bag or pocket.

The media could not be loaded. From the moment I opened the box, I could tell the Gimbal Stabilizer was a high quality product. The presentation alone impressed me, everything was neatly packed, and the gimbal and accessories give out a sense of durability and craftsmanship. The gimbal itself has a nice weight to it, feeling sturdy and well-made in my hands.As someone who has never used a gimbal before, I found the initial setup a bit confusing. However, downloading the accompanying app opened up a wealth of features and provided access to numerous videos and tutorials that made the learning process much easier. You can also pair it via Bluetooth and use it standalone, but I recommend the app for its extensive features.While I haven’t fully mastered all the functionalities yet, I am excited to continue exploring. The stability the gimbal provides is excellent, and it's incredibly easy to manoeuvre, making shooting a smooth and enjoyable experience. The focus and zoom functions are intuitive and add a professional touch to my videos.One of my favourite features is the light on the back, which is useful for low-light shooting. The gimbal also offers the convenience of wireless charging for my phone, which is a lifesaver when the battery gets low. Additionally, with just a press of a button, I can effortlessly switch between horizontal and vertical shooting.Overall, the AOCHUAN Gimbal is an excellent investment for anyone looking to enhance their mobile videography. Despite the initial learning curve, the quality, functionality, and extra features make it a standout product. I'm eager to unlock its full potential and take my videography to the next level.

Here we have a 'gimbal stabiliser'. It comes packed nicely in to a cube of a cardboard box and opening it up, it looks very smart. And when picking this up you know this thing means business. Mounting my phone in it was OK, though a little awkward to do with only two hands! It takes one hand to hold the phone and another two to pull the arms apart. With the phone in and balanced, this thing almost feels like magic, especially when it's turned on. There are a couple of mounting points in this for the magnetic camera depending on where your phone camera is. It has about +/- 175 degrees of movement left and right and about +/- 45 degrees tilt forward and backward and +/- 90 degrees tilt left and right. This gives it a fair amount of movement and control, though because there isn't a huge amount of clearance, even a smaller phone will butt up against the arms.This may take some getting used to, but it can hold the phone steady through a moderate amount of movement, even allowing you to stretch your arm out to hold it almost flat.After spending some hours with this stabiliser, with the AI cam mounted, it flips itself round as fast as it can. When I hit the joystick to bring it back to face me, it actively resists.It should be a fantastic gadget, and I'm sure I'll find some use for it on my travels, but without the ability to reliably convince it to do face tracking outside of the app - it is not very useful. My intention is to primarily use it for video presentations, but while this functionality is unstable I will struggle to use it.
