Decent shave for the money.
Good value for the money. I bought one recently at TJ Maxx for $9.99 when my Remington broke. I decided to get another Vivitar from Amazon as a backup. The Vivitar feels sturdier than my old Remington. Close enough shave without any irritation.

Bargain price. Does the job.
I used to use Braun but they were around $80, with a $25 price tag for a replacement screen. With this I get the entire rig for the price of a Braun screen. After a few years it gets dull and I replace it.

The power of recharging?
Based on my experience with the VIVITAR PG-V003, this shaver's battery is good for at least 1 shave. I was not able to squeeze it up to 2 shaves before being forced to charge the entire battery back up.I also cannot tell how much more charging this battery will need. While charging, all this electric razor has, is the single red light. No other signal anywhere will tell you if the battery is done charging yet. I wanted to mention other details that I am not comfortable with, but I will rank this one flaw which makes me hate it, enough to not use it anymore. I will clean it, I have no problem with that. But if I have to recharge the entire shaver, prior to every use, I will always be haunted by how much charging will be enough? The answer to this question is I will never know. I can leave the charger alone and never bother with it, except to leave it plugged in for charging. But the idea I am wasting money to charge it, will keep haunting me. Just pay the minor difference to get a quality electric razor that tells you when it is done charging. I'd rather have the power to make this energy ghost stop haunting me.

Such a deal!!!
Over 50 yrs I've had all the different rotating blade shavers from $69 to $250....Now that the blades seem to be sold only as the whole top unit, and not just blades, this is a better deal than ANYTHING out there. Is it perfect, No. But for $10 it makes the most sense. No blades to buy!Yes, It is a bit noisy and clunky, but the shave is just as good as most anything out there. I've ordered two so I'll always be ready when it konks out. It's worked finer for 3 months.

You can't loose a thing buying this razor
For the price you should not complain about anything. They omit telling you to keep it plugged in for the first 24hrs to fully charge the battery. if it quits on you as some reviewers have stated it probably was the switch position is up on the on position. It will only charge with the switch in the down (off) position or was lack of charging long enough.. I have two the older one still does a great job. But don't loose the power cord as I did and had to order another razor. At this price I was prepared to just order the cord. Now I have one on charge while I carry the other shaver with me in my computer case. The charge will last a long time depending on use. It's not fancy. It will not impress friends when they step into your bathroom but it simply does what it was intended to do clean that afternoon stubble off your face and give you peace of mind.

One foil is for one year
The foil gets broken in a year. It includes one spare foil and it means that the shaver becomes useless after two years because they do not sell spare foils separately.

Vivitar Duo Foil Cordless Rechargeable Shaver
Have only had for a couple of days but so far am very happy with shaver. I only use this shaver occasionally for touch up before going out in the evening. Like the rechargable feature. No batteries to corrode or replace. Bought first one from CVS for $9.99, liked it so much bought two more from Amazon for $8.77 each. How long can a $9.00 shaver Last? I do not have a heavy beard. Have shaved and still do with a Personna single edge (push-pull-click-click) for over 50 years. First tried the $10 Foil Micro Shaver (from CVS and also available from Amazon) and really liked the closness of a foil shaver. The Micro Shaver died after about and hour of use. The Vivitar is very well made and looks like it will last a lot longer than the Micro Shaver. I bought the two Amazon shavers from dms inc. The boxes were slightly crushed but the shavers were not damaged and do work. I mention the damaged boxes as related to giving them for gifts. Good Luck!

Would not trim grey hair.
Works as expected on non grey hair but after using this trimmer my grey facial stubble remained untrimmed.
