I love these clamps! They are so much more sturdy than I thought they were and look. They are so easy to use and the gripping power is wonderful. As someone who is hard on tools and a newbie, these are the best! They really stand up to a lot of abuse and continue to work great!

Worked great for what I needed them for. Had a tight area, clamps were just the size I needed. Wouldn't use on a big job though, tiny clamps .

These are a bit on the flimsy side, but about what you should expect for the price. But they aren't too flimsy to get the job done, and their compact size and light weight are useful features.

Let me start out by saying this review was written by a real person and not an AI, as will soon be evident by my bad grammar and punctuation. My rating of this product was given strictly based on its capability to perform the task that it was meant to perform and not in comparison to other devices of the same kind. So what this means to you is: as long as you have realistic expectations about what you are buying, then this review is for you!On with the review:Most bar clamps/spreaders all pretty much function the same. There is a trigger mechanism that, each time it is pressed, moves one side of the clamp either closer to or farther from the other side, depending on if it is being used as a spreader or clamp. There is normally a button that is used to release the clamp. Think of how a caulking gun works.The two sides of the jaws are made out of a nylon/plastic and seem to be pretty sturdy. The trigger mechanism does what it is intended to do, and the button release is easy to find and use. The parts that will actually clamp down on your project are a softer plastic but not a rubber. The stationary half of the clamp has a screw that goes through the clamp bar, comes out the other side, and has a nut on it. This is made this way so that the two halves of the clamp can be taken off and flipped around to use the clamp as a spreader.My personal opinion on how this performed:The trigger works pretty smoothly, and a full pull on it moves the half of the jaw about a quarter of an inch.When clamped down on a project, I am guessing it is using about 30 to 40 pounds of pressure at the max. I wouldn't expect it to last long if you overclamp stuff regularly.The plastic feet that come in contact with your project are slightly harder than I would like, and on a smooth surface would slip around.Keeping in mind that this is made for smaller jobs, and I'm not expecting to hold a sheet of plywood in place while cutting it with a Sawzall, it does hold what you are working on in place. I used two of these to hold two pieces of pine together after gluing them, and it worked great.My original intent for these clamps was to hold a straight edge to a piece of acrylic while scoring the acrylic to snap it. Unfortunately, the plastic pieces that come in contact with the project slip around too much for me to get a reliable score. I could probably clamp it down harder and limit the movement; however, like I said in the beginning, the clamps probably wouldn't last that long if I were doing this regularly.So is it worth it to buy these clamps? Absolutely! I got five clamps for $10 (less than the cost of a single clamp at a brick and mortar).If you are holding a ruler or level in place while drawing a line, clamping a project down while drilling a hole, holding something in place while working on it, or anything else where you might need an extra hand, these are perfect. They are what they claim to be: a light-duty clamp.Even though they did not meet my needs for what I originally bought them for, they will still hold a prominent place in my toolbox as a quick and easy way of holding parts in place.I hope my review helped you in deciding weather or not to purchase these clamps.

$9.99 for 5 bar clamps is very inexpensive. So while I definitely got my money's worth, I'm not sure they're sturdy enough for my needs.

Exactly what we needed for a project!! These are the perfect size, easy to use, durable, and they have a solid grip. Great price!

Not as good clamping power as a c-clamp, but convenient to use for light clamping.

Nice little clamps. They are very little but do hold quite strongly. Great for hobbies and when you need a quick hold.
