They have for me. I even pulled a few off and adjusted them and they have stayed on the bathroom wall. The wall is a fairly smooth painted wall across from the shower.

They do not. I pulled a few off and readjusted them and there was no wall damage. I would just be careful not to crack the mirrors when removing.
