Sijo Bruce Lee: From Classical to Non Classical

I had the great good fortune to buy this three days ago in Rome at Guro/Sifu Inosanto's Instructor Training Conference, where he was kind enough to sign it for me (he wrote one of the Forewords). It contains a wealth of new photographs (refreshingly few of which are of Si Jo Bruce in film roles) which I've never seen before, and I've been involved in martial arts since 1973 and actively involved in JKD/Jun Fan gung-fu since 1992. It's overall layout and presentation are visually stunning, and the text is meticulously researched. It is also a joy to read, barring a few instances of clumsy translation from the original Italian (no back-translation, perhaps?).I'm confident that this will be the go-to text for anyone with an interest in the personal development of Si Jo Bruce Lee and/or in the development of his expression of martial art.

Anyone interested in the development of Bruce Lee as a martial artist, including many styles and people that influenced his own approach should get this book. This book is not about Jeet Kune Do, or Jun Fan Gung Fu per se, but about Bruce's development. It is full of nicely restored and edited pictures, including several I had not seen before myself. 400 pages of text, diagrams and photos. Highly recommended!
