Super Glossy
Expected a matte finish and it’s glossy - like really shiny. Ugh

Beautiful, well made puzzle!
I got this for my boyfriend. He’s a huge puzzler! He does about 2-3 a week. However, this was the first time trying a puzzle from this brand.First off, the box presentation is top notch. They put a lot of thought into the packaging, and it shows! All of the pieces came in a nice sachet, and the poster is the same size as the puzzle. This was a HUGE plus for my boyfriend, as he used the poster to match up the pieces frequently. He’s not one to use the numbers on the backside of the puzzles because he likes them to be challenging. However, they are there if you need them. He can usually finish a 1000 piece puzzle in a day, and this took him just a few hours. Probably because the pieces only had a few different shapes. The best part though was how beautiful the artwork was. We loved the beautiful cottage right next to the beach. We both agreed that it would be our dream house!I’ve included a few pictures of the finished puzzle. In one, he’s holding it upright so you can see how sturdy the puzzle pieces are. We liked the artwork so much that we put it under a piece of glass on our desktop, so we can admire it.Thank you for indicating that you found my comments and photos helpful.

There is no kitten in a windowsill
This puzzle somehow came across odd to me, but I don’t think I can fully explain why.The material thickness is fair, especially for modern-day puzzles. As you can see in the pic, about the thickness of a quarter, so they're sturdy (pressed cardboard), but they don’t have that heft you get from some materials, and especially older puzzles. All of the pieces are pretty generic ‘puzzle’ shapes – there are no odd or unique/interesting cuts at all.The box is exactly as seen in the photos, misspellings and all. That’s the kind of QA I’ve come to expect from these things, for better or worse. And to reiterate for you cat lovers, NO, there is no kitten in a windowsill, or anywhere else on premises, for that matter. I can’t explain it.I do appreciate the bag it comes in, so I didn’t have to pull out the usual zipper bag. The included full-size image is nice to have, but your feelings about the printed sectors on the backs of the pieces may go one way or another. Personally, I think they create too much of a temptation to cheat, and I almost always finish these puzzles faster than those without it, which probably shows some implicit bias to lean on it.
