Mixed it with my foundation and I glowed
I have very fair skin so when I opened the Naked Sundays SPF 50 I was more than a little surprised to see that it is Very Golden and shimmery. As I looked at it more carefully, all I could think about was how similar the consistency is to my BB cream foundation. A little thinner than some but on par with the ones that have a higher SPF. So, I tried putting it on my wrist just to test the tone thinking I could wear it to replace my BB cream. It was just too yellow for me. Then I tried mixing it in with my foundation and wow! I kind of glowed! It’s the perfect blend for summer when I try to layer higher SPF products on my face and neck to keep from getting a sunburn. The shimmer became subtle and added a warmth and glow and I used a little more mixed with another sunscreen on my neck and chest. I’m thinking that’s not how the manufacturer intended it to be used but I love it as an addition to my current products. It blended well and brightened my complexion. I’m excited to have something different to play with this summer that not only protects my fair skin but also adds some very subtle shimmer!

Cute packaging and nice shimmer…maybe not for fair skin tones
I have heard great things about Naked Sundays products and decided to give this a try. The packaging is adorable with a hologram type effect and it instantly made me smile. When I opened the product to do a patch test, I noticed that the gold color was quite off from my pink/fair skin. But it did blend in sort of ok. If I use this on only certain areas of my body, I think you’d definitely be able to notice. Like if I used it on my shoulders and not my neck/face, you’d see the color difference and I don’t think I’d put it on my face cause I tend to break out easily with most sunblocks. But it does leave a nice golden sparkle to my skin and I had no irritation. It would be great for going to a pool party or out on a boat/beach date. I think I could find some sparkle/shimmer for my face that might make the color difference less noticeable. When rubbed in well, it’s more of the golden glow that shows than a yellow color, so I think it could work. I put it on my arms before doing some yard work in the sun with short sleeves and didn’t get sunburn, so it seems to work well. It’s a lotion and I tend to go for sunblock sprays because I do seem to sweat more when lotion is applied. Though I only had to use a small amount of this stuff, so it didn’t feel too heavy on. The good thing is that the golden shimmer makes it easy to see where I’ve applied it so I don’t miss spots. I think a teenager or younger person (I’m in my 40s) would love this stuff more. My husband likes the shimmer and that means I will probably wear it when it’s just him and I out in the boat. The shimmer also does seem to hide smaller skin imperfections and kinda sorta makes cellulite look a little better too. So I gave it 4 stars because it’s a nice sunblock, but not perfect for my skin tone and age.

Excellent sun protection, offers subtle tint that looks nice
This SPF50 sunscreen offers excellent protection against the suns harsh rays. It's unique because it also provides a subtle tint so my super pale skin looks nicer and healthier. There is a light glow to it but it's not shimmery, which is good. It applies evenly and not splotchy. It washes off and doesn't stain the skin. My skin feels moisturized and soft with this sunscreen. Overall I like it. It might not be a good fit for everyone, depending on your shade of skin, but is mostly universal.

Shimmery...Not for Me
I've heard good things about Naked Sundays and thought this was a good option as I need strong SPF for my very sensitive skin. I knew it had a "golden" color to it, as shown in the images, but I didn't know there was SHIMMER in it. I patch tested a bit on my hand, and it was not right for me. I began itching pretty quickly, but again I'm very sensitive. This is fancy SPF, that you're supposed to wear like makeup, using their "body buffing brush" I guess? I didn't have that, but it didn't go that far anyhow. It would be nice if you're going to a beach/summer party, etc, I suppose, but I don't know about daily use...it's just a preference really, and a sensitivity issue for me. It's a generous size though, unscented, vegan, made in Australia. Though we haven't had enough sun to test the effectiveness it's a high SPF50. Quality product so I think it's worth the $31 if it's for you. Just know it's shimmery...

Not pleased
The sunscreen is VERY watery, very glittery not pleased especially for the price, sunscreen will be used up easily for having to apply so much

Thin, tinted, blends well!
This sunscreen is pretty thin. It’s tinted so I don’t have any white caste. It’s very easy to blend out. Barely any scent to it. I would say it gives a bit of a glow and sunkissed appearance. I like it as a base for my makeup and sometimes just wearing it on its own. It’s pretty and simple.

Moisturizing, nourishing
This is a great moisturizing sunscreen. I haven't used it long enough to know if it will have any long term firming effects, but it does seem to reduce the appearance of some crepiness while I have it on. The "glow" mentioned is almost like a really, really fine gold mica powder. Imagine mixing gold eyeshadow powder into a tinted sunscreen. It's a little like that. It's hard to photograph. For me, it's a bit much for everyday use. This isn't water resistant, thus it really isn't sweat resistant. This isn't the sunscreen you'll want for a day of being active, or for going in the water. This is much better suited for a picnic or a garden wedding or a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk. I think this is better suited for someone younger than I am. It's a little bit too shiny for me. I will pass this on to my daughter who is in her early 20s. I recommend this for anyone that likes the shimmery look. It does give the skin a nice glow, and it is quite moisturizing.

Love it
I love how this sunscreen makes my body look! It has shimmery components but it’s not overdone.
