They’re very sharp and easily cut through soft vegetables and fruits without sticking. They’re better than metal blades for those food items. They are also easy to clean.

I received these as a gift, and now they are my go-to knives. They are superb at cutting--so good that I have to keep them in a special divider in my drawer to remind me how sharp they are. I got the plastic handles because they are dishwasher safe.

The quality of the knife was very bad, two of the three-piece set broke

I owned a Kyocera knife nearly 8 years before it chipped!!!!! I ordered the 3 piece set (black handle + black blade) as its replacement. VERY PLEASED. I DO NOT OWN ANY OTHER KNIVES EXCEPT THESE!Tips to avoid chipping: DO NOT store or dry on the knife's end/tip. I wash mine promptly after using, dry it immediately with a towel by hand, and lay the knife down flat on a rubber pad in a drawer so they don't slide around or get knocked around. I use bamboo cutting boards with these knives. I only use these knives with vegetables. (i never use them for meat, boning, garlic pressing, or avocado pit pulling/twisting.) If you drop it on tile, use it with glass cutting boards, or torque the knife aggressively (like hacking into then twisting out an avocado pit) then yeah, it might chip. If you're looking for a VERY EFFECTIVE peeling, chopping, dicing VEGETABLE + HERB knife set, this is for you. The sharpness will impress you for years. I never had my old knife of EIGHT YEARS sharpened!!!!P.S. If you're curious, the way my old kyocera 7" knife chipped was: i left it laying flat in the bottom of a ceramic sink, layered some plates on top, and accidentally put a metal pot down too quickly on top of it. DUH. the tip of the knife chipped right off.

I was looking for some prepping knives and thought I’d try these. Washed them and started prepping dinner. Cut right through a potato like butter and I said… wow this is a game changer.

Great knives! So razor sharp they cut right through cauliflower and other hard to cut foods with ease. Be careful… they will slice you if you’re not.
