Excellent light output and color, similar to 50w xenon bulbs, can use w/non-LED dimmer switches*
I purchased 12 of these LED light bulbs to replace 50w xenon bulbs in two bathroom light fixtures (6 bulbs per fixture). The light output is similar to a 50-watt xenon bulb, though this is just an eyeball test. The color temperature is slightly cooler than my xenon bulbs at maximum brightness; when dimmed, however, the bulbs are more noticeably cooler. Xenon bulbs are more of an orange color when dimmed, whereas these bulbs are more bright yellow. I'm not bothered by the color temperature difference because it's only really noticeable when the lights are dimmed.*Can these bulbs be used with non-LED dimmer switches. Well, that depends. Here's my light setup: I use these bulbs in two light fixtures (6 bulbs per fixture) that are controlled by a single dimmer switch designed for incandescent (not LED) bulbs. When I plugged in all 12 LED bulbs into the fixture, there was a very brief flickering, then no light at all. However, when I plugged in just one xenon bulb (in the first position in the entire series) with the other 11 LED bulbs, the dimmer worked perfectly, even when dimmed to a very low level of light, with no flickering. Why did the dimmer work with 11 LED bulbs and 1 xenon bulb, but not with all 12 LED bulbs? My guess is that it's a load issue, and that the 78 watts (6.5w x 12 bulbs) output for all 12 LED bulbs did not meet the minimum load requirement of the dimmer switch. When I added the xenon bulb, it increased the minimum load to 121.5 watts, which I'm guessing exceeded the minimum load requirement. So, there you have it, these bulbs can work with non-LED dimmers under certain conditions, and I'm guessing those conditions have to do with meeting the minimum load requirement of the dimmer switch. For me, it was worth a try.Edit 2/13/21: Lowered my rating to 3 stars. The bulbs started dimming noticeably less than 12 months after install.

Short Lifespan
They work ok...for about a year. I ordered September 2018. Replacing now November 2019. Description says 25,000 hours, which is 2.8 years burning 24/7. This is 100% erroneous. True lifespan is about 1,800 hours, and that's a REALLY generous estimate!

Looks like a DC bulb but it needs 110V AC - buyer beware
I goofed and ordered this without noticing that it is for 110V AC, not 12V DC. I didn't realize anyone made 110 AC bulbs with this typically 12vt socket. So take note and don't order this if you plan to use it on DC.

Short Life Span
Sales info says 25,000hrs. Packaging says 1 month replacement. None have lasted more than 4 months.

Good replacements for xenon bulbs
I bought these for the light fixtures in the bathroom to replace a few burned-out 50 watts xenon Type T4 bulbs (with double contact bayonet base). The light quality is very good and indistinguishable from the xenon bulbs, and they work flawlessly with the dimmer switches. (The dimmers have to be LED- compatible, though.) I installed them about two months ago, and they are working fine. I hope that they will last for a very long time. I plan to replace all the xenon bulbs in the bathroom light fixtures with these LEDs in the near future.

Flicker at low wattage setting
Put into a fixture that used a 75w max halogen bulb and has a high/low switch. On low, these bulbs flicker noticeably, but on high, seem decent. Since they are advertised as dimmable, I'd hoped they'd be able to handle either setting without flicker. No idea about longevity.

Did not last.
I ordered two sets of these for the lights above my stove in the kitchen. They began to burn out after only 1 month.
