Hello, thank you for your question. Our Tencel sheets have a thread count of 320, but be aware that thread count can often be a marketing and math trick used by some manufacturers. For example, poor quality 200 thread count yarn can be used in a three ply configuration to arrive at 600 thread count. E.g. 200 x 3= 600. A better option is a single ply quality yarn at 300 thread count. Also, weave and finish are important factors too. If you try our Tencel Sheet Set, I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Q: Do these feel like microfiber sheets?

Hi there, thank you for your question. I can't say for sure how our sheets feel in comparison to microfiber, as everyone has a different opinion. Microfiber is a man made fiber, where as Tencel is sourced from 100% natural sustainable fiber, which gives a different feel. This is reflected by the difference in price too. Our Tencel sheets are great for sleeping comfortable, as they are extremely breathable, where as some people find microfiber and other man made fibers, make them hot and uncomfortable in be. Hi there, there sheets do not really stretch, apart from the elastic on the fitted sheet, but the fit is quite generous for pillow top mattresses. David Olive + Crate
