All-Aluminum, Raptor Gutter Guard in Black. Fits a 6" Gutter -48ft to a Box

I requested the Raptor Gutter Guard for 6" gutters to see how efficiently they would work. I've been needing to get some guards up for quite some time but just did not want to pay the enormous amount of money that some of these similar product companies demand for the product and installation. That said, my 'installer' is my 70 yr-old husband and we have a steel roof so installation is going to be a bit more tedious than just slipping a lip under shingles and securing with a screw. As such, hubby has taken one of the guards up and visually examined fitment to get an idea what all he needs to do. He will be using the guard as a template for drilling screw holes into the metal roofing shingles, and, then coming securing the guard after slipping under the shingle lip. The final piece will be to go back around the installed screws and dab a little black silicone on each screw to ensure they are watertight. It will be a full day's work for him to get the 48 feet of guard run, but it will beat having to clean out the gutter every couple of weeks or so, depending on time of year. Rain and oak tree leaves just don't mix at the drain very well, if you know what I mean. We think the product will work exceptionally well for us, considering how well it is made.
