Alpaca walking socks, colourful, thick performance socks

OK for walking round the corner! These socks have reasonably cushioned soles which are fine with ordinary street shoes but above the sole the weave is no thicker than any ordinary sock and no warmer. Whoever designed / designated these as suitable for serious walking/hiking has no idea of what is needed for use with boots/hiking shoes. Will not buy these again and definitely would not recommend then for use on the hills.I have given one star for the above reasons and because, for every-day street use, they are extremely expensive with many better, cheaper products out there.

My wife says they are the best socks she's ever owned. She purposefully purchased a too big size and wears them around the house and to bed and is very comfortable and happy. She also loves the green color.

Having ordered the red previously my partner loved them and ordered the electric blue ! What can I say there's no blue in them they are mauve . He does still like them but not the colour expected. Yes we did see a picture but thought it was wrong. :)

Well-knitted warm and comfortable for walking. Strong colour. I like the socks.

these are superb hard wearing but comfortable keep your feet snug in coldest of weather.

bought these are a present for my father, he likes them and says they are comfortable to wear and keep his feet warm, on a downer my mother is afraid to wash them after historically shrinking many a pair of woollen shooting socks in the past.

Really comfy sock and feels great.
