This is a great value and works well! The first one I ordered was defective, and Metapen shipped a new one to me immediately. So not only do they offer an inexpensive alternative to the products Apple offers, but they also have top notch customer service.

From a stationery maniac: This is a wonderful pen, ergonomic and light. The grip is great for those who love neat writing. It’s a wonderful replacement for the Apple Pencil if you use it for note-taking. Personally, I have horrible pain from long-term use of the Apple Pencil because it’s not balanced correctly. Even all the grips on the market don’t help much, except maybe for Kaweco (which is pricey)

The media could not be loaded. A couple months ago, I received the Metapen D1 iPad Pencil, and for the most part it has nice performance. This stylus is compatible with a wide range of iPad models. Its versatility makes it an excellent replacement for both the 1st and 2nd generation Apple Pencils.One of the standout features of the Metapen D1 is its ergonomic grip. The design is comfortable to hold for extended periods, reducing strain on my hand during long drawing or writing sessions. It is especially great for someone like me who has arthritis in the hands. The included soft pink grip is not only aesthetically pleasing but also adds to the comfort.The app control functionality is another significant advantage. It allows for seamless integration with various iPad apps, enhancing the overall user experience. Whether I'm taking notes, drawing, or editing documents, it is easy to switch between these apps and set up using the customization feature. The Metapen D1 performs exceptionally well specifically for this.However, I do have one significant gripe. The button on the pencil is quite sensitive and is positioned in a spot where it's extremely easy to press accidentally. This can be super frustrating, especially when it interrupts my workflow, which happens way too frequently. It doesn’t matter where I hold the pen or where the button is placed at one point or another it ends up getting pressed unintentionally. I think a less sensitive button or maybe if it was placed just slightly higher would make this pen perfect.In conclusion, the Metapen D1 iPad Pencil is a high-quality stylus that offers great value for its price. While the button's sensitivity and location are not ideal for me; its ergonomic design, app control capabilities, and compatibility with a wide range of iPads make it an affordable investment in comparison to others with similar features. If you're looking for a reliable and comfortable stylus, the Metapen D1 is definitely worth considering, as long as the location of the button won’t be an issue for you.

Purchased pen because wanted to try metapen new product . Pen seems rushed as far as app and design . No issues with connectivity and response. I have it paired with iPad Pro .the additional sized tips are also appreciated .Pros1. Ergonomic design2.additional tipsThe cons1. Pen doesn’t charge wireless like the previous generation pen .also has exposed usbc port2..The app adjustments is limited to 4 apps.3.The ergonomic design doesn’t allow for most cases to work with pen4.The magnet that holds it to the iPad is not that strong easily falls off5. The button is weirdly placed and takes getting used to as far as placementI would save money and get older generation

This ipad pencil works great on my daughters 8th generation ipad. She says it is very comfortable when she is drawing or writing on her ipad and holds a charge for several weeks with almost daily light usage.

Problem new product but no replacement tips for it yet. Weird and how long will tip last till need new one

Has been great for using with iPad and easy to connect and set up. Functions just like the main brand and is nice size. For the price it is nice alternative and pencil to screen accuracy is just as great.

Excellent value and as good as the very much more expensive brands. Quick and easy to charge, comfortable to hold and fully charged keeps going for a long time but I haven’t found how long as it has drained the battery yet. If you need a stylus pen, then I would definitely recommend this one!
