I’d say based off the smaller size and the cheapness of the dough, that this would be better for older kids who wanna experience cooking. The sauce is great, and of course once everything is on the pizza, it tastes good.. but it didn’t rise much if at all. And it was a little dry imo. Also the rolling pin, while cute, it was easier to use our own that actually rolls.

This is a cute pizza set and looks like it would make a nice gift, but I don't think it functions as well as it looks. The rolling pin is cute but is too small to work very well on rolling out the dough. My dough also didn't rise very much, even though it sat for the recommended period of time. I'll stick with my normal pre-made crust that tastes better and doesn't take so long to make.

This was a cutely packaged gift that included everything you needed except the cheese to make your own homemade pizza. The directions are very straightforward to make the dough, but our dough did not rise at all. The pizza still came out okay tasting, but not as intended.Not affecting my review, but two of my family members did get sick later that night - unsure if it was related to this kit or not.

This is a nice idea for a gift but the dough was a little disappointing. The set includes flour, sauce and a mini-rolling pin. The dough was whole wheat and I am not sure if that was the reason, but it did not rise like I would expect. The resulting pizza base was a little heavy for me. The pizza sauce was good.

This pizza set made for simplifying the process of making homemade pizza left a lot to be desired. I followed the instructions on the product, and the dough was unable to rise at all. It was left at room temperature as well. I also noticed this uses whole wheat flour which is unique. After baking, I noticed that the crust was incredibly salty and it overpowered the rest of the pizza toppings. I thought the sauce was fine though, and the aroma was perfect. Only issue was the dough making process.

When I ordered this pizza making gift set, I intended to give it to a neighbor who loves to cook and try different things. It arrived and I see that the rolling pin is pretty small and I don't think it will be useful for a true chef, so I won't be giving it to the intended recipient. On the other hand, it will be fun for my wife and granddaughter to experiment with pizza making! I checked out the web store of Artigiani de Sapori. There are many different gift ideas and next time, I'll try one of those. Unfortunately, for this pizza kit, I'll have to say it is not ideal.
