As can be seen in my videos, I am a slow clumsy food handler but this kit, provides me with greater control in my slicing and dicing and coring of fruits and veg, like apples and tomatoes.I use the finger protectors to core tomatoes and other fruits. It helps me to more smoothly than I normally manage with a knife.The onion holder slicer, works brilliantly in my dicing onions as first stab the onion in the middle and make my slices with the knife. Then I stab it 90 degrees, to then dice the onions through the slits. Works really well despite my clumsiness.I am yet to use the other two components provided which I assume is slice pizzas, and dough in to squares or other shapes. I tested its cutting on some veggies in the meantime and I can say it slices cuts smoothly.Top marks for giving me greater control and making me look a little less clumsy in my cutting, slicing and dicing.

This set of finger protectors arrived in a long cardboard box, which contained 5 individual finger toppers, 2 "plate" protectors and a spiked holder for your veg.The finger protectors come wrapped in, blue, protective film and easily slot on the end of your digits. The two "plate" protectors have a pair of rings on the back, to insert your fingers into. The spiked holder can be used for any item you are chopping/cutting, to keep it held in place or to provide a chopping guide - as a knife easily fits between each spike.I used them all whilst chopping onions and whilst they didn't protect me from years they certainly combined to make the job easier and safer.At £5.99, at time of review, they represent good value for the enhanced safety.
