decent build
Some of the tabs for the wood pieces didn't line up correctly, had to sand down to fit. Lights ended up not working even though I followed the horrible directions they give you. I guess test the lights before assembly. Other than that disappointment, this is a cute little green house.

Challenging
So this was fun. I love working on these little nooks but I had a few problems. 1. the instructions felt like it was ran though a few translations before being finalized and was a little hard to follow. 2. Pay attention to the next few steps when it comes to adding the plastic. They have it backwards so I had to start over and fix it the correct way. 3. even though they supply glue, get some super glue. The glue they supply is great for some steps, but when you need a quick and sturdy application, the super glue is better than the one they send. 4. The glue they supply is not water bases so you cannot use water to remove it. I even tried alcohol and it still wouldn't come off. So when I had to go back and fix the plastic, the glue is still on the plastic and isn't as clear as I would help. But it was a fun nook to do. It looks really nice and wasn't to easy. It took me a while to get it build but that's exactly what I wanted. Even with all the problems I faced, I would get it again or another on from this brand. It was perfectly imperfect!

Cute result, Not cute to put together
This product turned out adorable, for the price it’s okay. I couldn’t fit a lot of the actual structure together however the assembling of the little pieces was fun. Came out barely fitting together but its a cute item as long as you dont look too close at it.

Hard to do, turned out ok
The media could not be loaded. Update : customer service is very good. The seller was very easy to work with. I still hope they make improvements to the quality and ease of putting this together, but I think it’s worth trying if there’s no risk. I was already doing a DIY book nook when my 13 year old daughter wanted one to. So I have the advantage of comparing two different brands side-by-side. I have to say hers (the garden house) was incredibly difficult. The instructions were nonsensical. The pictures were not clear. The names of the items were complicated for no reason. A lot of the pieces broke. And it was very, very difficult to put together. That being said, it turned out cute. But if it were me, I would recommend a different brand. Also, it is absolutely not for small children. The pictures are deceiving. Even with me - an adult with all my life skills and electric knowledge and my daughter with her good eyesight put together- we barely managed it. But if you’re into these and you’re patient, it’s worth a go.I will also include a picture of the other brand I’m doing, which is easy and fantastic and good quality. (Magic Pharmacist)

nice mix of snap together and hand-made
This model set uses a combination of snap together and hand construction techniques. For this reason, I would say this is intermediate skill level. There are some bits that are kid friendly but this is very much an adult kill level kit. There is little to no wire work, which I appreciated because I'm not a fan. There is a lot of hand making little flowers and plants but they are all pre-punched so you don't have to cut a bunch of fringe for grass or anything. I think this would be a great kit for someone who is unsure if they want to do the kind of kits that have every little detail handmade. You can sort of get a feel for if you like that kind of model construction. Some of the pieces are very delicate and I would take caution when punching them out. Even though I pre-cut all the little bits with a blade first, I still broke my railing and had to glue it back together. Luckily the break isn't in a place that is noticeable. There is an issue with the hanging baskets and the lighting though. They provide a black plastic straw that you are supposed to slide down over the wiring to the bulb. The straw is too small to do this so you'll need to make an adjustment. I just slid mine down as far as it would go on the wire and called it good. I really had a good time with this model and it took a few days worth of long working sessions to complete.A note about snap together models...These are meant to be a tight fit. It's how they say together. If you make sure the first couple of snap together bits are perfect it will help you along the way. If the first couple are slightly off than it sort of compounds and by the time you get to the last few pieces nothing fits. I believe this is called compound tolerance. It's very important to make sure that the first few steps of snapping together (the back wall and the box that hides the battery) are straight and perfectly aligned. If your pieces don't want to fit you can take some fine sand paper and sand both sides a little. Even a small bit of sanding can make it fit.

Beautiful
This is a beautiful kit! It makes me feel like I have a little greenhouse on my shelf. It almost looks like a fairy house or something. This kit has everything inside that you need, except for the batteries for the lights. You do have to be careful popping the pieces out of the sheets, but if you are careful, it is not bad. These are sturdy pieces. This is just such a great set. I love to have the lights on at night, because it looks like a fantasy space. I also feel like this set is great for a beginner that might not already have tools for these sets. And it was pretty easy to put together, so a beginner wouldn't be too frustrated, either. I loved all the little plants and things that were in the set as well. It just felt really peaceful.
