The media could not be loaded. The box arrived on time, intact. The unit was pristine and perfect. No dents or dings. This AC unit performs like a champ! I now have 3 identical units and each one is just as phenomenal as the first. This AC holds whatever temperature you set it at, within reason. No 40° or 50° difference from outside, if you know what I mean, but still cool and comfortable. I keep ours set at 72°F. And let me tell you about the noise (or lack thereof) :) These units are so quiet. You don't have to talk over them or turn the TV up to be able to hear it. They really are that quiet. About the level of a whisper (less than 50 decibels). The one and ONLY thing I wish the unit had would be a higher fan setting to move more air. The remote does need line of sight to work. That's it, nothing terribly bad. The video speaks for itself. Now if by chance something changes, i.e. quits working, I will be back to update my review.

In the interest of actually trying this out, I did use it, despite the damage that clearly existed on this thing since before it was packaged up. It cools well, is about average in terms of loudness, and looks really nice.It also has all the durability of a popcan. As others seems to have already had, my unit has creases on the seams that hold the U together - like it's trying to bend and warp and tear itself apart, and that's even before trying to install it. I had plans to use this in a second story window, but honestly, short of testing it since it was out of the box anyway, I'd never mount this up high - with how poorly that bend is made, this thing is just begging to have the heavy rear of the unit tear itself off and endanger anyone below it.ZAFRO - Design a safe air conditioner and then we can talk. For the hundreds of dollars these things have, the most important seam that keeps this whole thing together should NOT be creasing like a cheap cookie sheet.

My old unit stopped being able to cool down my room about 20x20 size room. I needed to get a new unit and was unsure because there are so many. I tried this unit for the price and BTUs. It is a bit heavy so I wouldn't install it by myself but with help it was pretty easy to install and fix to the window. I had been expecting something more complicated because I have never seen a unit like this one , but was pleasantly surprised. I didn't need any special tools or jerry rigging. It was literally a matter of minutes to get the unit set up in my window.It cools very well! It gets my room pretty cool. I can feel the cold air as soon as it is turned on. It cools enough and reduces the humidity at the hottest time of the day to make and keep my room nice and frosty.I like that the unit sits low on the window so if I wanted I can still open my window.The drain is on the inside but I ordered a tube so I can hook it up to drain outside the window and not have to worry about it.

This little ac is so good. We installed it in a large game room. It keeps us cool, is quiet, love the remote control option and very easy installation.

I bought another brand of clear view air conditioner. I liked it so much I wanted to replace a second unit. This was cheaper so I thought I would save a little money. Installation is super easy and really liked the looks of this unit. I let it run all day while I was out and came home to a hot house. Looked inside the unit the best I could and a blade from the PLASTIC fan was broken off keeping the fan from cooling the compressor. When it did come on it ran for 30 seconds and shut off. I actually wanted a replacement but it was going to take a week to be delivered so ultimately requested a refund and had to drive 2 hours to buy another unit exactly like the one I already bought. Customer service was great with my issue but I feel like this particular unit is made a bit shotty.

Put this AC unit in my son's bedroom near the attic. His room gets very warm and unbearable without supplemental AC. It's very quiet compared to other window units and blows very cold air. We bought this specific unit for the shape and it's seemingly easy fit over the window ledge. BUT, what we didn't factor in was then amount of open space with the window fully opened/pushed up. We have older windows and they do not provide the level of clearance needed to simply pop in the unit and slip it over the window ledge. We had to use a little geometry and contortionism to fit the unit through the space. Not gonna lie, it was a booger to place. Make sure you measure the open space once your windows are pushed up. It will help determine the level of effort required to install the unit. Other than that, no complaints.

I don’t usually give reviews on products right away, but I couldn’t help but be absolutely amazed with how fast this AC cooled our house. I live in Texas with no central heating and air so I solely depend on window units. I received this earlier today set it up and went out to run some errands , I usually come home to a semi cool house but today it was cold! I actually had to turn up the setting to 72 just to warm up a bit. Installation was a breeze took all of 10 minutes or less.

Ordered 12000BTU unit. Shipping box model number shows 12k which I assumed was 12000. Noticed that label on unit after install as well as energy guide show 8100BTU.It was easy install. Somewhat less noise than a traditional window unit.
